InstaDeals – A Cool Little Plugin

Being an entreprenuer, I am always looking for ways to run my businesses with more efficiency.  While going through my emails I saw a plugin that caught my eye.  You see one of my businesses is my Acupuncture practice.  I am always looking at new ways to bring in more patients.

Now having tried the “old school methods”, like running ads in local papers, going to trade shows, doing talks and networking with the local business community, I have found that my most profitable way to advertise was through a Groupon ad.

Recently I ran a Groupon ad and it was the most sucessful form of advertising that I have done in the last 10 years.  I received around a 10% ROI and I didn’t have to invest any money upfront.  All I have to do is spend my time and supplies to perform the service.  This was a great way to get more patients through the door without spending a boat load of money on ads.

And let me tell you…I have spent plenty of money on all different forms of advertising and marketing courses.  Never had any of these things gotten people to my door, not until Groupon.

But this is not to toot Groupons horn by no means.  Although they did bring me patients that I would have never seen through my pratice, the amount of time that I had spent weeding through the tire kickers was immense.   I was working so hard with little compensation.

Groupon sends your ad to it’s local targeted data base, which is great, but the split was not so great so Ireallyworking for free.

Now it might seem like I am complaining but really I am not, this was a great deal…

And then I saw this InstaDeals plugin…

With this plugin I can design my own coupon and keep all the money!

I realized that each month I have around 1,000 visitor to my site so why not run my own deal?
