It was also very cumbersome to read ebooks on a PC or laptop. Kindle is so much easier. Feels like you are reading a real book and it is much lighter than a book. Can also be carried around easily.

The only drawback seems to be that it doesn’t have a backlight. So you need to have a light source around or buy one of the kindle cases which has a tiny light attached to it.

This is my second kindle in 3 months. My first one got frozen when I switched it on to read during my flight. Amazon claims that Xrays cannot harm Kindle. So not sure about carrying it with me for my next flight again. Have no other complaints!!
