Happy New Year-Welcome 2012
As I type up this blog post, my children are outside setting off a few bottle rockets to celebrate the New Year. I have to say that I am very grateful for my health and that of my family. I am thankful that we are all safe, happy and together.
This year we have had our tough times. My husband wasn’t able to land a full-time job this year, but he was able to launch his own Mobile Auto-Detailing business. He was able to find a few wonderful clients that paid him generously for his hard work. He is very detail-oriented, so he did a top-notch job with every car he worked on. And, as the “season” drew to a close, he was in profit—what an awesome blessing!
As for me, I left my job as a Veterinary Technician to pursue a career as a Life Coach. That didn’t start off to great, but I got up the confidence to branch out on my own and launched Born to Stand Out Coaching on December 30th of this year. Along with Empower Network, I am finding great enjoyment in utilizing my talents, gifts and abilities to reach others and help them achieve their goals.
Our children have done well this year. They are healthy and are doing well in school. I am grateful that they have nice friends, great teachers and that I am able to work from home and be with them every single day. Helping with homework hasn’t always been a load of fun, but we get it done! *LOL*
Over the past year, we’ve lost some loved ones. Some close to us and some celebrities that we admired. We remember the magical moments that we’ve shared with them and will never forget them, as they always hold a special place in our hearts.
Happy New Year-Welcome 2012
Even as I type this, people around the year have already begun their Happy New Year celebration. Here on the East Coast, there is still just over 3 hours until the New Year rings in. I do confess I can’t wait to watch the Honeymooner’s Marathon that is on every single year. I do hope that they will continue that tradition, although I sometimes fear that they won’t.
Even though, at the present moment, it looks as though 2011 may end on a sour note, I know great things are coming our way in 2012 and it will indeed be a Happy New Year. I gladly say good-bye to 2011 as it was a year of financial struggle for our family. Thanks to Empower Network and my Life Coaching business, plus my husband’s Auto Detailing business, I see a lucrative year ahead for our whole family.
I want to wish you and your family a Happy New Year. I pray abundance and prosperity for you, my friend. I am grateful that you and I have been able to connect. No matter how you came to find this blog post, no matter where you are in your life, I am believing AND receiving many, many blessings for you this coming year.
