You may not realize it, but the thing that creates the life we have is the decisions we make. It might seem crazy. It may seem untrue… but if you really take a step back and think about it, you’ll see it’s absolutely true.

Today I was riding my bike, on a trainer, on my front porch while it was pouring out. While I wasn’t getting wet, I was surrounded by a downpour. It was one of the most amazing moments of my life.

I was also listening to an Inner Circle training at the time, and one thing jumped out at me. One sentence out of the 1 hour and 1 minute long training that made me stop, and think. That one sentence has had my brain twirling and me searching for more the rest of the day.

Huh? What? That can’t be true. It can’t be that easy. It can’t be within my power to change everything, no way, no how. Holy shit. He’s right.

I started looking at my recent decisions… and from those decisions the things that have happened, the changes that have taken place, the way I feel, the relationships in my life. It was one moment. One decision that has changed everything. Unbelievable.

So… it got me thinking.

Maybe I want to start being a little more deliberate in this whole “decision making” stuff. That’s where Google and Youtube came in… and here’s what I found. 5 simple steps (and huge inspiration) to start making decisions.
