Easy Homemade Pantry Staples

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

You don’t have to be an amazing chef, or even have a lot of time to want to give your family the best, least processed foods.

I know when I go to the store I just grab all the pantry staples off the shelf. Ketchup, italian  dressing, onion soup mix, peanut butter, taco seasoning. Yeah, I just grab it off the shelf.

I never even thought about making any of those things! Until I saw Mandi Ehman’s amazing ebook Homemade Pantry Staples. I’ve always been a huge fan of Mandi and her “Your Way” blogging network. I took a look through the book and realized I could save a lot of money, and create better, tastier and less processed versions of just about all the staples we use in the house.

As I was reading I realized it wouldn’t really take much extra time to make these staples and keep them on hand. I can make larger quantities as well… so I’m not buying one packet at a time, and always have it on hand when I need it.

The book includes homemade recipes for so many different categories of food, including, beverages (lattes, french press coffee and more), seasonings, condiments (ie. ketchup, mayo, mustard and more), pantry staples (bread crumbs, chicken stock, cream of something soups and more), dairy, snacks and baking mixes too! (biscuits, brownies, cake, cornbread and more!).

All in all, this book has over 120 pages of simple recipes you can use to create homemade versions of all the staples in your kitchen.

The best part… is for the book kickoff Mandi’s giving this book away for 99 cents! Yeah. It’s nuts, but that’s what she went with. You can grab it a couple different ways. At Amazon (download it right to your kindle in seconds) or in pdf form (download it to your computer in seconds) either way the price is still just 99 cents.

If you’ve ever wondered how to make something in your kitchen from scratch I’m sure it’s in there… grab this book as a resource to have on hand. I’m so excited I have it!!

If you’ve ever thought about being a “blogger” and sharing the things you love with others online, just like I do, and watch the training. It’s so simple. No technical knowledge required and you can be up and posting in minutes!
