Well here it is…Super Bowl Sunday 2013, here in New Orleans!!

It’ the San Fransisco 49ers vs. the Baltimore Ravens

Two brothers competing against each other in one of the most watched sporting events in the U.S. John Harbough, coach of the Baltimore Ravens and Jim Harbough, coach of the San Fransisco 49ers. It will be very exciting!! This years NFL Playoff Season has had some great games, this is a fitting end to the 2012-2013 NFL Season.

I came across this article talking about who would be the “wildcard” player of the Super Bowl 2013 game. Usually when you think of a “wildcard”, you think of an unknown. They had listed a few different guys but, I found this player to be a very interesting prospect for the “award”. His name is Dennis Dixon who is a quaterback on the Baltimore Ravens practice squad. He’s had an interesting career, not a long career (he’s suffered some injuries), but a good player. He volunteered to help his team out in preparation for the Super Bowl 2013 game because his skills and abilities will help prepare the Ravens defense for their biggest game this year!! Now that’s truly dedication to your team and more importantly an unselfish, “pay-it-forward” act. Check out the article and the other players picked for the “wildcard” player of Super Bowl 2013.

Dennis Dixon. Yes, he’s on the practice squad, and no, he won’t see the field Sunday, but Dixon’s ability to run the read option in practice will be invaluable for a Ravens’ defense that is playing its best football of the season. The former Oregon standout and one-time Heisman hopeful volunteered to prepare his teammates for Robert Griffin III back in Week 14, and he’s done the same ahead of the Ravens’ matchup…Read more

So we’ll see if the “team spirit” that Dennis Dixon portrays gets the victory for the Baltimore Ravens today. Or will the young quaterback of the San Fransisco 49ers, Colin Kappernick be able to withstand the mental pressures of this highly acclaimed football game day and it’s trophy…Super Bowl 2013.

The other thing to keep an eye on is, what will happen with Alex Smith San Fransisco 49ers other quaterback. Will he play in today’s game?? And…what will happen to Alex Smith when the 2013 NFL Football season finally comes to an end.

Well, it’s only a short time from now that these questions will be answered and all of our speculations will come to fruition. Until then…get yourself ready for what should be a VERY EXCITING game!!
