First I must tell you this is not the only way how to do Facebook marketing. You can choose several different ways to do it. However, this is cheap and simple. Let´s start…
1. Most people have a Facebook account. If you don´t I suggest you go to Facebook.com and create it. Just follow the steps and you are done in no time.
2. You need a target market. maybe you are in the Internet marketing niche, network marketing, fitness or dog training. It does not matter… But you must be clear on who you want to market to. 
3. The next step in this “how to do Facebook marketing” tutorial is to find people interested in what you offer. It´s very easy to fin them… Just go to the search bar in the upper part of your Facebook account.
Type your target market phrase and start to join groups and pages. 
For example if you want to target the fitness niche it will look something like this:

4. Create a Facebook fan page. Click here to create your fan page. If you are determined to learn how to do Facebook marketing this will be a walk in the park. When you click the link you will see a page looking like the one below.
You can choose basically the most fitting description for you business. Some people recommend to choose Cause or Community. If you are uncertain click the help tab in the bottom of your Facebook window.
Your goal is to get as many people as possible to like your page. When they do, every time you post on your page they will see it. And thats not all, their friends will see it too!
Let´s say the average person have 200 friends and you got 1000 likes. That means you are exposing your message to 200×1000=200 000. Are you with me? Do you see the potential?

5. Let´s go get some new friends… remember all the pages and groups you joined earlier? It´s time to connect with them and invite them to be your friends and get them to like your page.
Let´s go visit your pages and groups you joined and start to interact with the members. be nice, polite and helpful. I think you should stand up for what you believe without being rude to your peers. Just like in the real life:)
One thing to keep in mind is you cannot spam your friends!! It´s very important to remember. If you do it they will not stay as your friends and you will not succeed.
First I want you to post to your Facebook wall at least 3 times each day, preferable 4-5 times. Remember to alternate good content and offers. The content can be quotes, valuable information, facts, news and tips.
The better your content, the more likes you will get from your friends the more exposure you will get.
I don´t recommend you to promote your offers more than once every 7-10 status updates. This way you don´t spam your friends.

Another thing to consider is the quality of your offers. Only recommend quality products that you can personally stand behind. I strongly recommend you to buy the product before you promote it. If you have your own product it´s of course a great opportunity to promote it.
