Straight Ahead is the road that leads to the beach any way!

This little video got me to thinking about two very different philosophical takes on the simple scenario presented.  At first I thought that it represented sitting in one place while the world moved past.  Sort of a world rolling by with no choices, and straight ahead leading to who knows what.  With the video game sound and look, I was sure that calamity awaited the little white car.

The road straight ahead wasn’t so bad after all!

Once the video finished with the road straight ahead leading to the beach, my thinking changed.  It was clear that straight ahead was the quickest and most direct way to get to the goal of “Paradise” or at least the beach.

The moral of the second interpretation is very accessible.  Why not take the road straight ahead to the goal of your vision?  The goal exists right where you imagine it.  Why take a roundabout route to get there?

Why do we go down dead ends, take unecessary detours, use questionable roads, pay extra tolls, use up energy, follow bad directions, get frustrated, and end up taking longer than if we had stuck to the road straight ahead?

I don’t know, even though I’ve done it.  (Both metaphorically as well as in real life!)  Perhaps it partakes of ego, macho, and cukoo in equal measures.

You can probably guess where this realization is headed.

Take the road straight ahead in your Internet Marketing business!

• Use the paved road
• Avoid extra tolls
• use your energy wisely
• Get and follow good directions
• Reduce frustration
• Arrive sooner

I have just such an Internet Marketing Business.  The road is clear, construction and speed bumps are done.  The tolls are exactly what is necessary to use the road (about to become a superhighway), and there are specific, accurate, and easy to follow directions.

So, frustration and disillusionment gone and arrival times way shorter.
