Slow Motion is all about inertia and gravity

In this video of slow motion scenes of human movement and destruction I am captivated by the forces of inertia and gravity.

Because the slow motion reveals action and movements that are normally hidden by their speed, the beauty and power of movement is apparent.  As you watch the video, think about which scene is your favorite and why.  Seeing athletic men and women move?  Seeing how destructive impulses expand?  Maybe one of the slow motion scenes of unusual action like the woman lapping milk from a bowl!

Slow motion scenes, enjoy and leave a comment about your favorite!

So which slow motion scene was your favorite?

That’s always a difficult question for choices like this.  I like different ones for different reasons, as you probably do also.

First among these is the slow motion of athletes performing.  When so often their movements are too fast to appreciate the subtleties.

The science teacher in me has to go for the slow motion scenes of objects breaking.  The laws of motion are so clear to see as is the pervasive effect of gravity.  I love how the slow motion video brings these moments into the range of my senses.

What do you think about the soundtrack during the slow motion video?

Does the piano soundtrack add to or distract from the intrinsically visual nature of the slow motion video?  For me it faded from my consciousness as I was caught up in the visual.

No discussion of slow motion would be complete without the demonstration of why certain people should consider a sports bra…suspensory (Cooper’s) ligaments can take only so much stretching we’re told.  Eventually they will not be able to be…as upholding as one might wish.  But this turns out to be an “Old wives tale”.  Dr. Christine Haycock, a respected surgeon at the New Jersey Medical School and an expert in sports medicine, said that “Cooper’s ligaments have nothing to do with supporting breast tissue… They just serve to divide the breast into compartments.” She noted that most women’s breasts begin to droop with age and that extremely large-breasted women are generally more affected. However, sagging is not related to ligaments or dependent on breast size.  So it may be OK to enjoy the slow motion here without concern about future sagging.

Slow motion is how some people run their lives and or businesses.  There too we are able to see the effect of the forces of inertia and gravity.

You know…

Inertia: An object at rest (or in motion) tends to stay at rest (or in motion) until acted upon by an outside unbalanced force.

Gravity: the force of attraction between masses

People who take no action to affect their outlook, prospects, or conditions are likely to continue as they were…unhappy and unfulfilled.

The mass of their negative mindset weighs them down and tends to draw in those around them.  As they say misery loves company!  Life tends to drag out as though in slow motion.

Fortunately there is a cure for this slow motion life!

You guessed it, TAKE ACTION!  Move a muscle, change a thought is good advice for anyone.  The act of choosing something different, of doing something new has a power beyond expectation.

Take this opportunity right now to do something different.  Click on the link below to find out if owning your own home based business might be the impulse you need to overcome that slow motion life of inertia.  As you have been going is how you will continue to go unless a new force is applied to your situation.

That new force is you taking action right now.

Step up – Speed up, and escape the slow motion lifestyle!
