Be Fearless – A Shameless Plug For Muscle Prodigy
One of the books that I have been reading recently is titled, Power Vs. Force. I wrote about it a few blogs ago. You can see that article here where I made the original reference: The 12 Steps of Blogaholics Anonymous. Anyway, my point in mentioning it is that I want to illustrate one of the points made in the book about power vs. force. And I’ll use a simple reference to make the point.
In browsing the book, I observed that there was a distinction made between power and force. Power is inarguable and plain. You might even say that it’s fearless. It’s evident – like the spirit you feel when you’re in a stadium of hundreds and thousands of people. Close your eyes and imagine that now. Your body pulsates with the power and vibration that would be present if you were in a stadium right this minute in front of or among 100′s of 1000′s of people. That’s power. Now, the contrast would be if you were in that stadium and had to try to get them to cheer for you. Can you imagine trying or even making the effort to get the crowd going? That’d be exhausting – that’s the simplest way I can paraphrase what I’ve discovered about the difference between power and force. Power just flows and goes. Force requires some over the top effort that leaves you exhausted and wiped out.
What Does Being Fearless Have to Do with Power Vs. Force?
Well, a few months ago, a woman who had no clue who I was posted a video on her page. Her name is Tanisha. And I saw the video title – Be Fearless. And I thought…hmmm…. this looks interesting. And I clicked just like you’re going to do now:
If you took the time to watch the video above, you know or have some sense of what I felt when I first watched it. I was chilled, thrilled, inspired, punched in the face, and slapped awake! A part of me came to life. The sleeping giant that I didn’t know was inside me was awakened. And I could identify with that inner yearning to live fearless. That my friend, is power…it’s the beginnings of it’s conscious expression. And any of us struggle to honor it. I know I do at times. And if there’s a message that I have for you today it’s this. Be Fearless. When the doubts, worries, concerns and all that jazz from doom and naysers come – thank them for reminding you of your commitment to be fearless.

So, why am I plugging the Muscle Prodigy Be Fearless Video? Well, it’s the power principle I mentioned earlier. When something is powerful, it doesn’t need to be “marketed” in the traditional sense we’re accustomed to. It markets itself through us. It markets itself through the consumer, the customer, the user, the community, society, even the world. The same principle applies to great ideas and technology, good books, great movies, plays, performances, and athletes. Something in these people or things connects to our innards and we find ourselves inspired to act.
Muscle Prodigy – I don’t know who you are besides the obvious fitness organization. I don’t know where you came from and what inspired the talk you shared with the world on YouTube but I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your gift with humanity. And I thank you for being the one to speak it the way only you could. This is the essence of HEROmanity – the Courage to be unique and surrender to ones greatness. The only way to access this consistently is to Be Fearless.
So, to the reader, that’s my challenge to you today. If you’re willing. I challenge you now, to Be Fearless. Make today that last day you going to give reasons and excuses for not having your dreams, goals, and visions fulfilled and honored.
