This Or Something Better
Often in life when we are rejected, by a man/woman, or a job or we don’t get that house we were trying to buy. We let it knock our confidence.
I was talking to someone yesterday who actually had quite a bit of experience with the Law of Attraction and how wonderful life can be when you embrace it. However she had applied for a job and hadn’t got it and I pointed out that when we ask God/The Universe for something we have to say ‘this or something better’ and very often we don’t get what we are after but something ‘better’.
This Or Something Better
On talking to this lady yesterday she was so focussed on what she didn’t get that she wasn’t focussing on what she did get and actually whilst she didn’t get the promotion, she got the equivalent in the form of cash. It was only when I pointed it out to her, that she actually realised.
Don’t spend too much time ‘grieving’ over what you haven’t achieved, as I say God/The Universe doesn’t always deliver ‘exactly’ what your expecting. Focus on what You ARE achieving.

I think that you have to believe in your destiny; that you will succeed, you will meet a lot of rejection and it is not always a straight path, there will be detours – so enjoy the view. – Michael York, actor
However, if you spend time learning to love yourself – appreciating the person that you really are, you will no longer take these rejections personally.
This Or Something Better
Never take Anything Personally! There are lessons to be learnt in rejection and when you can see the lessons – its far more empowering – plus don’t you know the more rejections/failures you have – the closer you are to the RIGHT person/job/house! It just takes patience.

Do not waste yourself in rejection; do not bark against the bad, but chant the beauty of the good. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
You only have to google very famous/successful people like Oprah, Katie Perry, Walt Disney to see how many times these people failed before they succeeded. Thomas Edison had tried 10,000 times to invent the lightbulb – imagine how brassed could have got..but no he turned it round and shortly after had success!! ;0)
The way we cope with rejection says a lot about out mindset – when your feeling confident/good about yourself – you see the situation for what it is – you take the lessons, you KNOW that there is better out there – waiting for you and you move on.
This Or Something Better
So get out there and spend time on yourself – learning to love yourself so that you can learn from the rejections you do have – because there will be more but know – that you need to go through all the rejections/failures to find the RIGHT girl/guy/job or house – AND there will be something ‘better’ for you )
