What An Awesome Day! Empower Network Definitely Changes Lives

Sometimes when the best changes in life are coming our way sometimes they seem like they are surrounded by chaos.

I had someone a couple of weeks ago come to me and tell me they couldn’t believe all the stuff I was putting on the Internet, and they didn’t like it! That I shouldn’t be telling the whole world my life stories and sharing so much personal information for the whole world to see. Well my response to that is that it is my life, my circumstances, my challenges, and my life. I love sharing life stories, whether good or bad, they are mine and I can share anything I want with whomever I choose to share it with. Lives are changed by stories.

That is what is so awesome about Empower. There are so many people that have been through so much, stuff people usually don’t talk about, stuff people are ashamed of and they get up on stage and share it with audiences of 3,000 people.

Things that have happened to us all are what makes us who we are and you should never be ashamed of telling a story, whether painful, or not painful. You never know who may read that story and feel like they can actually make it out of a bad circumstance by just relating to someone who has been in the same boat as they have.

How I knew Empower Was Going To Change My Life

We are taught in small towns to cover up all the “negative things that happen to us” and only tell about the good, because we are scared of what others may think of us. We are scared of being talked about or made fun of. Maybe you are scared of people thinking they are better than you. Well I am not scared, I am not worried what others think, I will share whatever story that helps someone else.

Empower Has Already Changed So Many Lives 

This wasn’t your ordinary convention. I told everyone that knew I was going to San Diego, that I would not come back the same and that is so true. Yes I am still the same good hearted person that cares for others and wants to help anyone I can, this convention just made me want to do it 100 times more.

You have to be able to help yourself before you can help others, and that has always been my problem. I admit that has been a problem of mine. I feel like that was never why I wasn’t happy in my Salon anymore. I wanted to do everyone’s hair for free just so they would feel good about themselves and then I realized I was only hurting myself.

Here blogging, I don’t have to work 8 hour days, I don’t have to be made to feel like I didn’t please someone by not fixing their hair perfect. I can help others by just typing a blog post and helping myself at the same time.

This weekend was a learning experience and Sunday I was overwhelmed with tears of joy feeling that I was finally apart of something that fit so well. I am no longer wondering around wondering what I could do to make more money or what can I do to help others. I am here, where I need to be, where I am meant to be. And to top all of that good stuff is I can take my business with me wherever I go.

It’s a good life, and I am thankful for so many things. I find out more and more each day what a great world we live in and that I am blessed to have found this for me and my family. It is definitely going to take us places we have never been.
