How To Use Google Keywords Tool

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

If you are using google keywords tool then you will be ahead of the game. When you write a post for your blog then it is so important to have the keyword or words in your post.

For instance:

  • In your title
  • At least 1 time per 100 words
  • In bold, italic and underlined
  • In your H1, H2 and H3 titles

I’m going to tell you right now that you can rank highly in the search engines if you have long tail keywords. The reason is that if you are trying to rank for “network marketing.” You want to at least try to type in some other words around it that you think that people will type in google search box. For example, instead of saying “network marketing” try “what is network marketing” simply because people will want to know what is network marketing, right?

Another example you can use in google keywords tool is “smoking.” Then try “How to stop smoking permanently.”

The key is that you want to put something in the search box that if you were the other person. It is something that you would type in.

Is your keyword from google keywords tool in your title

This is very important and really common sense but I’m going to go over it anyway. If somebody types in “How to stop smoking” then you want that to be in your title!!

If it is not then they will not find your content. It doesn’t even have to be your whole title. You can be trying to rank for “network marketing” and your title could be “Is network marketing easy.”

As long as you have it in the title then you have nothing to worry about.

One great tip: make sure that you think of a title that will catch people’s eye. That goes for anything that you write and with your videos if you do them.

Google keywords tool and H1, H2 and H3 will help get you ranked

If you pay close attention to the title I have above, “Google keywords tool and H1, H2 and H3 will help get you ranked,” you will see that it is in H3 form. That means that it is the title of whatever I am writing below it. This is important if you want your SEO ranking to go up. Always put a title at least 3 times.

I hope this has helped you with your keyword questions and how should I use the google keywords tool.
