But the idea that there are is damn profitable…

The only network marketing secrets there are,  is that all the guru’s will tell you there are secrets, but that’s just a ploy to get you to buy stuff.  There — cleared it up.  Back to square one now.

Sorry guys. Here’s what’s really happening, and what you need to understand before you go any further.  If someone tries to sell you something, it may be good, it may not be.  So go to your trusted sources, and figure it out. Google is the new Yellow Pages, and facebook is the new shopping mall….. Get information and get it quick.

OK that’s enough about that… let’s get down to the real topic at hand.  If you’re online, or aren’t online, fine – just clarify something now.  You need to be, because the people that you want to recruit or sell to, are. You will be missing out on a huge amount of free leadsand growth if you are nowhere to be found.  It’s funny I think.  I was talking with a guy over the weekend, and he’s my age (31), but is no where online.  He doesn’t use facebook, hardly uses email, and really has no clue about online marketing.  So it got me thinking…. is he alone?  or am I? Well, HE IS!

The Internet is the largest house party in the history of mankind.  Maybe that’s one of the network marketing secrets the guru’s don’t want you to know.

As of March 31, 2011, there were 2,095,006,005 users online!!  That’s 30% of the world’s population for goodness sake!!! 

I get it… it’s intimidating getting online.  But just pick up your pants, don’t be a wussy, and do it.

If you take control of your online marketing, using the tools I will give you, you will learn how to generate leads online.  Building your Network Marketing business will always be about connecting with real people, but it doesn’t all have to be about meeting them face to face to get them interested.  The internet will shift your entire business around, from looking for the right people out of everyone you meet everyday, to getting people to come to you. The internet also creates a global atmosphere.  I personally don’t really talk to many people from my own city (online).  Most people I know are from the US, or across the world.  This has really taken me by surprise, because it’s amazing how similar we all are, and how much we all need the same things to be successful online!

It’s one massive internet marketing buffet!

To get found online for free you must learn to harness the power of Search Engines, Social Media, and blogs. This includes websites such as Facebook, Squidoo, HubPages, and many other social networks. You may never have heard of sites like Squidoo, but Google sends more people to Squidoo.com every day than to most other sites.  The key is to understand how google works, or at least have access to an understanding that you can leverage. I talk a lot about leverage.  It’s because I have no clue what I’m doing I just follow instructions, step by step, exactly as I’m told.  I test different methods, and see what works.  Some people online have absolutely no clue what they’re doing, but are giving out advice like it’s written in stone.  Some others however, are awesome and KNOW what they’re doing.  You’ll know the difference once you get burned a few times.

The internet is like silly putty – the second someone tries to make it stay in place, someone comes and sticks their finger in it.

I have a few little network marketing secrets for you and they all start with the letter “c” and end in “r.a.p”.  But it’s a secret, so I can’t tell you.

There’s a new mlm training system, or product to buy coming out every day, because people are confused about what is working, so what better than to sell you a product?  Nothing.  Now I’m not against training systems.  I’ve bought almost every system and product out there, but have been disappointed like crazy.  The promises, the “guaranteed surge” in traffic, the hype machine is so crazy and never ending.  I gotta hand it to some of the marketers though – they’ve got a lot of time on their hands The products are meant to raise up the guru.  They are built to be MAYBE 89% complete.  That’s my opinion.  Prove me wrong. Can you find a product that you have purchased, that actually performs exactly as it is advertised?  keep looking…  The biggest secret in network marketing online, is the human element that can’t be discounted.

If you want to do article marketing like a pro, you need time, energy, skill, technological know-how, or LEVERAGE (that’s my fave). If you want to know PPC, you need money to lose.  You need to test, test, test, fail fail fail, and then have some success, and hopefully it sticks.  Someone else’s fast-start guide may work for you.  But let’s get this straight.  As you are JUST learning the skills it takes, remember that the guru that sold you those skills, has been working on them for months and months, so NOW you can access them, for a price. Once a product comes to market, it is usually stale dated already.  It’s a never ending tornado of systematic guru lifting.  Are you hearing me? I’m sick and tired of it…. It’s bull.

Now the problem isn’t just that the products are “half” truths.  The other problem is that most of the tools the gurus sell you, are being used by them, but they’re being outsourced!  So you’re spending the time learning the programs, the systems, the phrasing, the copy skills, the SEO ninja tactics, the link building super fantastic traffic getting ridiculousness, and the guru has some guy doing all that out of a hut in Malawi. So what are the real network marketing secrets? Leverage your ass off, until you can’t leverage anymore. Do what the guru’s do, without being a guru. Spend your money on resources. Replace yourself with cheaper labour. Do what you do best, and leverage the rest! Did you really need a program to tell you that?

So here’s what I’ll be doing from now on.  I’ll be  writing articles on what has worked for me, what has not (that’s probably going to be the majority)… but also I’ll help you wade through the bombardment of sales copy and product launches.
