First things first. The “Guru’s” are nothing more than you are. I’m sick of the idea that all the money needs to go up to the guru — enough… the “guru” is dead.
However, gurus that market on facebook understand some vital facebook network marketing secrets that you may not know YET, which has helped elevate them to this level.
So let’s clear the air – each “guru” was not born a “guru”. So how about we stop worshiping false idols and grow into ourselves as leaders. You are needed – not a replica of another leader, you.

Using facebook for MLM is a no brainer, but some of the tactics being used by some “marketers” are tactless and just plain rude! There are so many really good and professional people on facebook marketing their businesses, that it’s not necessary to flail around looking like an idiot.
Our generation is all over facebook, as we grew up with it. It’s a part of our lives and can’t be ignored.

So how are we tapping into this “facebook addiction” as Jonathan Budd calls it?
There are 2 ways – free and paid. That’s it.
There are two methods you can use Facebook to obtain leads for mlm, if you have a marketing budget you can invest in Facebook PPC advertising or if you have little or no marketing budget you can use the free side of facebook, both very effective.
One will cost you money, the other will cost you time, you decide what is it you want to spend.
There are some pretty good results to be had by Facebook PPC – especially since the infamous Google Slap. Google really has it in for the MLM community, so it’s really hard to market any sort of lead generation tools, or lead capture type pages through their PPC.
If you don’t know what PPC stands for it means Pay Per Click. If you look to the right of your facebook account you will see about 3 – 4 small images with text advertising something, could be a fanpage or a product or service, it does not matter. Those are called PPC Ads and anytime you or any of your friends clicks on them, the person that places that ad gets charged by facebook, hence the term Facebook PPC (pay per click).
The one thing that google ads are still good for, is straight up product sales. Remember that network marketing is not just about recruiting people. Make sure you still focus some time and energy on your actual product.
It may seem intimidating getting charged when someone click on your ad but this traffic source is amazingly powerful and easy to learn and do. The key is to know what your potential customers want, direct your advertising towards them and create great ads.
Free Side Of Facebook
A lot of marketers get this wrong. Just watch what the network marketing gurus do.
Because it is free to market on facebook, that doesn’t mean it is ok to Spam your friends and other marketers with your business opportunity or product (dirty words).
Don’t just add a new friend and as soon as they accept you send them a message to check out a video of your mlm companies compensation plan or link to your website. There is a wrong and a right way to market on your business on facebook.
The wrong way will get you nowhere, while the right way will have you seeing some major results.
This side of facebook to bring in leads for mlm is about networking and connecting with other like minded people. Steadily increase your network daily, provide helpful and valuable information to them that solves a problem they are having. Do this and you will attract people to you and bring in leads for your mlm enterprise.
Facebook fan pages are a vital tool and a place to own your space
If you don’t know what a facebook fan page is, just look at any company, or brand out there and you’ll know what one is. A fan page is just a place where you can really control content, share and syndicate information, really interact with your “fans”, and provide a place to communicate and interact with your market.
A fanpage can also be integrated with lead capture strategies and killer marketing tools to boost your exposure and relationships.
Using facebook to market your mlm business can without question explode your business online, build your brand, and gain you massive exposure. But you MUST LEARN how to use it the right way and use it effectively to see results. If you are spending countless hours on facebook and not getting the results you are doing something wrong, over 800 million users and growing, thats a lot of relationship that can be built and potential new reps for your mlm business.
