Finding your purpose can be exhilarating and frightening all at once.
Are you looking at new ways for finding your purpose?
If you are, you’re in the right place.
Finding Your Purpose: What Is A ‘Purpose’ Anyway?
When researching information for you, I came across an article on Oprah.com, referencing Gary Zukav.
According to Gary Zukav, there are 4 steps to finding your purpose, and these steps I found also define what your ‘purpose’ is really intended to mean (if you look deep enough)
Here are Gary Zukav’s 4 Steps to finding your purpose:
1) Discover your soul and it’s path
2) Open your heart to your feelings
3) Conquer your fears
4) The Four Things Every Soul Needs (Harmony, Cooperation, Sharing, Reverence for life)

Finding Your Purpose: Visualization Works!
Take a look at this video I shot about getting clear on my own personal purpose. It all started with a visualization exercise:
Finding Your Purpose By Taking Action
For a long time I would ‘force’ my purpose. Let me explain.
Take my career for example. If I thought I was supposed to do something because it was the ‘right’ or ‘proper’ thing to do in my career, I would do it – even if it didn’t serve my greater vision.
Every time I would act against my ultimate purpose, I felt a part of me die inside – I’m sure some of you know what I mean.
When finding your purpose, a key action step you can take is to pay attention to your gut-feeling. Your gut will NEVER lie to you – in fact, it’s also the greatest director for your purpose.
Take action daily on your ‘tasks’. Go through your day and check in with yourself throughout the day, asking yourself this question:
If MORE people were doing what I was doing right now… would the world be a better place? Would you sleep better at night? Would you FEEL more content and breathe easier?
What if 100,000 people a day were doing what you are doing — how would that impact the world?
Now you may not have a purpose that includes impacting the world. And that’s ok – this exercise is for YOU to understand what you’re here for.
Finding your purpose takes time
My ‘breakthrough’ moment happened in Austin, Texas at a personal development event – close to 2 years after starting down the path of personal development and personal transformation.
We went through a visualization exercise to really understand WHY we are here. Why we exist.
In fact, that’s me in the white shirt – at the exact moment my breakthrough happened (pretty cool there’s a picture of it)
