You can take the phrase “Stop Walking On Eggshells” many ways (this is what happened to me)

For me, I relate it to my journey in online marketing.  It took a long time for me to when creating marketing messages. For a year I tried to be someone I wasn’t, and felt like I had a borderline personality disorder!  There are many people we try and reach with our message.

To give you some perspective, we are mainly trying to reach people online who are looking for ways to make more money on the side, or transition into a home business, or sometimes just people who want to become better people because we have a strong focus on ‘personal development’.

My “market” is huge, it is vast, and spans many cultures.

For now, let’s assume you want what I have and am trying to reach you through marketing on the internet.  For years I tried to reach you, but I couldn’t stop walking on eggshells and was wrong about what you wanted and needed to receive from me.  See I ‘thought’ you wanted “how-to” training on tools, technical know-how mumbo jumbo etc.

Now I’m not sure what you do in life.  You could be a teacher, a doctor, a student, a mother, father, brother or sister.

And I won’t presume you actually want to listen to me, or read my blog, or watch my videos…

What I am confident of though, is at one point in your life you’ve felt like you couldn’t be 100% “YOU” in one situation or another.

I’m positive you agree… right?

So let’s talk about being yourself and the tangible results that come almost instantly from just that small change.

It’s a fact that the people I market to, in this case you are that person (for lack of anyone else reading this right now)…

And since you are the person I want to reach, the ONLY way to reach you at a deep level, so you listen to me, and read what I write, and feel the emotion of my words…

You need and want to know ME!  You want to know who I am, how I’m just like you, and how my struggles are your struggles, and my victories are your victories, and we can stand together and succeed as one!  And by walking on eggshells, you don’t get that, and I don’t get anything either!

I can only speak from my own experience of when I decided to stop walking on eggshells

In my opinion, and as you watch the video (scroll down), being yourself is the ONLY way to truly have success, attract the “right” type of attention, and reach the audience you were meant to reach.  You’ll know when you’ve reached the right audience by some feeling inside.

For everyone that feeling is different.  

For some, they feel as if they are being heard finally.  Or they sense they are being seen for who they really are.  Or that when they reach out, they actually touch on the real issues of their market.

This feeling with NEVER come if you don’t stop walking on eggshells.
