Nearly 50 years after Laurence S. Rockefeller donated Trunk Bay to the National Park Service, making it part of Virgin Islands National Park, the beach and offshore coral reefs remain among St. John’s most breathtaking and well-preserved attractions.

Blue Lagoon Beach, Mauritius
Of volcanic origin and generally sheltered by barriers of coral reefs forming natural, safe, crystal clear lagoons, Mauritius has long been a dream destination. Known to the Arabs as early as the 10th century, but officially «discovered» in 1505 by the Portuguese navigator Pedro Mascarenhas, the island was occupied successively by the Dutch (1598-1712) and the French (1715-1810), and was ceded to Great Britain in 1814 through the Treaty of Paris. On 12 March 1968, Mauritius became Independent. Republic Day was proclaimed on 12 March 1992.

Binningup Beach is the name of a small beachfront settlement in the centre of a 22 km long beach that starts at The Cut at the mouth of the Leschenault Estuary and trends essentially due north to the small mouth of the Harvey River diversion drain, just below Myalup. The straight beach receives waves averaging about 1 m for most of its length, which maintain a steep reflective beach. The entire beach is backed by moderately active 20-30 m high transgressive dunes, including blowouts and parabolics, extending up to 1 km inland, with vegetated dunes up to 1.5 km wide.

The main reason is that here, the reefs are very close to the shore, sometimes as close as 50 meters.
It is a rocky area as much on the beach than in the sea where stands a rock locally known as the Poodle Rock. Overall, there are amazing cup reefs and boiler reefs to be found in the waters of Church Bay Beach but it isn’t a place for the coral reefs of Bermuda.

Diani Beach is a major beach resort on the Indian Ocean coast of Kenya (in eastern Africa). It is located 30 kilometres (19 mi) south of Mombasa, in the nearby Kwale County.
The beach is about 10 kilometres (6 mi) long, from the Kongo river to the north and Galu beach to the south (the southern point of reference is an old Baobab tree). Inland from the beach, there is extensive vegetation , including numerous palm trees which cover the coastal areas, unlike the dry acacia trees of the mountainous Kenyan Highlands.
The general area is known for its coral reefs, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and for the closely located Shimba Hills National Reserve, a wildlife reserve which looks out over the Indian Ocean.

Clifton Beach is a town located approximately 25 km southeast of Hobart on the South Arm Peninsula on the outskirts of Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. It is part of the City of Clarence, and is a popular surfing location.
The entire beach is backed by a coastal reserve, which incorporates coastal dunes behind the central and eastern part of the beach.

Île aux Cerfs Island , known in English as the deer island is an island near the east coast of Mauritius in the Flacq district. This paradise island of Mauritius constitutes of around 100 hectares of land. Nowadays there are no more deers on the island, but you will find there some of the worlds beautiful beaches and as such it is one of the must place to visit and see in Mauritius.

Baros, Maldives (all Maldives Islands)
The Maldives, a group of about 1,200 islands, separated into a series of coral atolls, is just north of the Equator in the Indian Ocean. Only 200 of the islands are inhabited.
Many of these tropical atolls and islands are simply gorgeous, with swaying palms, white sandy beaches and deep-blue lagoons; none of the islands rise higher than 7.8 ft. above sea level.

It is the only Caribbean island which was a Swedish colony for any significant length of time; Guadeloupe was under Swedish rule only briefly, at the end of the Napoleonic Wars. Symbolism from the Swedish national arms, the Three Crowns, still appears in the island’s coat of arms.
