Medical Doctor Interview on Why He Got in Network Marketing

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

If you get in network marketing you’ll soon get rejection, so most wouldn’t even consider trying to sponsor their family doctor. This video interview shows

and their mindset and why mlm might be attractive to a doctor.

Tips on How to Recruit a Medical Doctor in MLM

  • Remember, Few Doctors have been prospected
  • Choose Appropriate Material the Doctor Will Relate to, like the testimony of another doctor. Let a peer of his sponsor him for you
  • Develop skills so you will say the right thing
  • Understand that a doctor’s lifestyle is high pressure since they can be sued at any time, medical malpractice insurance is costly, doctors are forced to be fast with patients in order to see as many patients as possible during a shift, it’s easy to miss something
  • The cost of med school puts new doctors in tremendous debt
  • Some doctors are open to looking at home based businesses as a solution to being in a career trap
  • Ask if they ever look at other ways of making money as an openers
  • Understand it worth it to sponsor a professinal because they have credibility so they tend to do well once the light comes on
  • Look for doctors that are looking, don’t worry about those that aren’t
  • Remember your dream so that you can withstand rejection. Don’t take it personally
  • It’s better to sponsor people at your ability and above, your goals will be realized faster with less pain
  • Doctors can afford the products and training, while others may have to stretch to budget their product purchases
  • Use your upline if you don’t have credibilty with your doctor. Look at your role as a connector rather than having a fake it till you make it approach
  • Associate with leaders to shortcut your training
  • Have a thick skin

I’ve sponsored a few doctors in my network marketing career. One time I stayed up all night packing to go to California beginning my flight in Tampa, FL. Since I hadn’t had any sleep, I brought my earplugs to block out the sound of the riff raff.

Ah, the tranquility set in as the earplugs expanded to fill my ears. We started to taxi down the runway.

After a few minutes, the man next to me asked me a question. I mumbled something and put my head back. I had one focus…sleep.

He then asked another question. I couldn’t believe it, couldn’t he see I was trying to get some sleep? I mumbled something else thinking, surely this would be the last question.

I told him I did Amway. I was proud of myself because I knew that would silence him for sure.

Unbelievable, he prods me asking how Amway is working for me. With one eye closed, I looked over at him and thought, you’ve got to be kidding. I thought this guy has to be one in a million, so I removed one of my earplugs. I thought that would do it, so I started inserting my earplug again.

“Sounds interesting,” he said pensively. “Can I do it part-time”?

I removed both earplugs thinking I’ve got a live one. “What do you do,” I asked.

“I’m a neurologist”.

“That must be lucrative,” I stated.

“Yes, it’s fine, but I get tired of the stress and I don’t have any time”.

I ended up sponsoring him when I got back to Florida a week later. Yes, it can be as easy as that. In fact, Thomas had to be one of the easiest people I’d ever sponsored and he was a doctor. So, you never know. You’re just looking for people that are looking.

I’ll never forget driving up to his beautiful house with his attractive wife answering the door wanting to know if I was hungry since she had dinner on the stove. Their kids were so charming and inquisitive. You never know, people are people.

I’ve also had my downline sponsor several doctors. People know people. Some grew up with people that became doctors. Others meet doctors along the way and just become natural friends just living the course of your life. The bigger your group is the more likely you’re group is going to sponsor doctors. You have the cookie because your opportunity has lifestyle to offer, the best of both worlds, time and money.

They say luck is the combination work and preparation. The harder you work, the luckier you get. You’ll just automatically have doctors get in your group the harder you work if you’re prepared. Start today.

If you don’t schmooz among circles that include doctors, I’d suggest you learn Internet marketing. Through attraction, you can get anyone in any career if you learn to attract people online. To learn that skill, go here.

So, prospecting a medical professional can be more valuable than sponoring people that “need it’. Go for it!
