Faith Moves Mountains!

Jesus says,

If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain,

‘Move from here to there, and it will move,

and nothing will be impossible for you.’ Matt 17:20

There was a horrible draught in one village and people were praying to all kinds of Gods for rain.

But month after month there was no rain.

Livestock were dying and people would go miles to fetch water for sustenance.

One day, there came a sage to the village and sat under a banyan tree.

People congregated around him and begged him to bless them with rain.

The sage said, “Tomorrow evening, all of you come to the field and assemble under the banyan tree. I will pray and bring rain to you. But you should believe fully that rain will come.

If you don’t have FAITH and doubt for one second also, you may not get rain.”

Villagers were happy and talked among themselves and decided to assemble under the banyan tree next day with full faith and hoped that rain would come at last.

Next day evening the whole village was there and the sage started his prayers.

After a while dark clouds formed, with thunder and lighting, heavy rains lashed the village. It poured heavily.

All the villagers, not to get wet stood under the huge banyan tree and were laughing, patting one another congratulating each other.

They thanked the sage, touched his feet and all were very happy.

The sage shocked them by saying,

“It didn’t rain because of your faith or my prayers.

You all doubted whether rain would come or not.

Don’t praise me or applaud yourself.”

The head of the village told the sage, “Guruji, you prayed and we had faith in your prayers and that’s why it rained now. Why are you saying that we didn’t have faith?”

Sage said, “Only one among you had faith, that’s why it rained. Look there…” He pointed a finger at a distance. They all turned their head to look. They saw a small boy walking away in the pouring rain under a big umbrella.

Sage said, “He is only one who believed that it would rain. So he brought umbrella when there was no rain for so many months. He has faith and he believed that it would rain, so he brought umbrella. You all are standing under this tree without umbrella and you are deceiving yourself and me by telling me that you had faith. Don’t lie to me.”

The villages were jolted to their roots.

They realized the meaning of FAITH that day.

They fell to the feet of the sage and asked for forgiveness and thanked him for his benevolence.

And they all ran after the boy and carried him on their heads all the way to the village.

That’s why I always see a huge difference between these two words, “Wish” and “Desire”.

Because, I believe, ” Mere wishing is without faith or conviction but when we desire, it is  with faith, conviction, decision and commitment.”

“I can do it”, is the mother of all affirmations. We are what we are is because of this faith that “I can do it.”

Mount Everest was conquered because of this faith.

Oceans are crossed because of this faith.

Space became our back yard because we believed it’s possible.

Going against the grain is what brings us the astounding inventions and discoveries.

I am now, on a journey where I am totally going against the grain 100% going against the grain and it’s giving me such awesome results, my whole life is being re-written.

Because I have faith. Faith in myself, in the universe, in the good in people, in the ability of man to achieve the seemingly impossible.

Believe me, when I tell you that a has changed lives of thousands of people in one year by helping them generate incomes from 1000$ a month, 10,000$ a month to even 360,000$ a month.

And believe me when I say that this company is just one year old.
