iGrapple | Get Better At BJJ
You may or may not know that I’ve been training in Martial Arts for almost 20 years now, in everything from Full Contact Karate, Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Kickboxing & MMA – and it just so happens at this very point in my life I live in the middle of nowhere. The closest BJJ school to me is about an hour away, but with two kids and no child watch at the gym I can’t really make it there to train. So for right now I have to utilize as much technology as I can to stay on top of my game – well – that and my wife and I turning our dining room into our training area. So as of right now we have mats covering our the entire dining room, and we hit them a couple hours a day to make sure we continue to get better at bjj.
Maybe you’re in the same boat as me, or maybe you can’t afford to get better at BJJ because of the cost of classes (let’s be honest BJJ classes aren’t the cheapest), or maybe you just have a hard time remembering all the new techniques you’re learning. Well there’s something that I’ve been having some success with lately, iGrapple. One of my favorite things about iGrapple is how well it breaks down each technique. There are so many positions, submissions, escapes, and sweeps that sometimes it’s hard to remember what I’ve learned – iGrapple is perfect at giving me that quick reminder, which then breaks it down in a video to help you get better at BJJ.

Now I know one of the first things you’re thinking is… Why would I buy this when I can just search on YouTube for free??? Simple… because sometimes you can find quality free content on YouTube and sometimes you can’t – also, you don’t always know who’s teaching the instructional video on YouTube. Bob Dorris has been training Martial Arts for over 38 years, and has been training in Grappling specifically for 20 years now, not to mention that he’s spent the last 5 years developing iGrapple. So do you want some bum on YouTube showing you techniques, or do you want someone who has been in submission wrestling and Jiu Jitsu for the last 20 years to help you get better at bjj?
How Does iGrapple Help You Get Better At BJJ???
If you didn’t watch the video above, make sure to do so, because it gives a screen shot on how iGrapple is set up and just how user friendly it is. The best part about it is if you’re in class and you get stuck in a position, as soon as you get to your Smart Phone, Laptop, or Tablet you can go to the exact position you were in to see the options you had. Understanding options is what helps you get better at BJJ, and seriously – from all the products I’ve seen so far, iGrapple is the best tool to do that.
Now I’m not saying good old fashion 7 day a week training isn’t the best method to get better at BJJ, but iGrapple is an awesome supplement to really up your game… especially if you’re new.
