Overture:

These Are The Days –>

The Gratitude Campaign

Hi There, My Empowered Friends:

As I write this post today it is Memorial Day Week-end in the United States.

Many will be exercising the freedoms that they take for granted

The freedom of a day off from a J-O-B that they feel enslaved to, or entrapped by.

The freedom of being out in the open-air, cooking the meat from a dead animal of their choice.

The freedom to associate with people of their choosing, be they friends, family, work-colleagues, or even, “God-forbid”, strangers – people who they have never met before.

All laudable activities. Activities made possible by the sacrifice of many whose lives were given to ensure those freedoms.

This note found me again today for me to pass on to you.

What you do with it

How you choose to use it

Is YOUR choice

A choice protected by the service of so many.

To all those who have served

To all those who have support their service

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

The Gratitude Campaign

This is pretty neat…..(30 second video)… Have you ever seen one of the military walking past you and wanted to convey to them your thanks, but weren’t sure how or it felt awkward?

Well then, let that be no more.

Scott Truitt, a gentleman from Seattle created a gesture which could be used and started a movement to get the word out.

In the three years, and counting, after founding The Gratitude Campaign, over 8,500 e-mails, and 1,500 comments have been received on YouTube. It seems that there is a lot to talk about with regard to gratitude for those who serve; not the least of which is the ever present challenge of understanding how to keep the politics out of it.

Please everybody take just a moment to watch…. The Gratitude Campaign; …..and then forward it to your friends! THEN START USING THE SIGN.

This is not Political – This is just a THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE

BTW – if the movie does not open, please cut and paste the link .

For today it is enough that

I am Peter Pocklington
I am a Good News Merchant
I am a Purveyor of Prosperity
And I am my own personal guarantee.

Freedom, Strength and Honor TO YOU

PASS IT ON!
