Have you bent spoons before? Have you witnessed spoon bending or read about Uri Geller bending spoons as a kid with his mind and thought that was really cool?
Let me tell you something, I’ve bent spoons before. Twice.
The first time was when I was in the Singapore army. I was a very frustrated, unwilling soldier, and it was just over lunch (here in Singapore, all males are FORCED to join the army once they leave school). I remembered how miserable and annoyed, and angry I was, being there, called back against my will, at the expense of my professional tennis career. Just as I was about to eat the sucky food – soggy rice, accompanied with side dishes that contained more gravy than anything, just morsels of meat and vegetables, I was about to spoon some rice to my mouth, shaped to that of scorn, nothing actually went in. It fell right back into the plate.
I broke out of my angry daydream and looked at the spoon… and got **SHOCKED**
The spoon’s head had twisted a COMPLETE 180 degrees.
I still recall how I took that spoon back to my supervisor and told him what had happened, and said I wanted to see a psychiatrist.
Still, I recall that the spoon-bending experience was no fluke. I started to believe in the power of the subsconscious mind.
2 years after that experience, and out of the army, I attended Jaz Lai’s internet marketing course, and oddly enough, he included a spoon-bending workshop on the last day of the training. What did spoon bending have to do with learning to make money online? Everything. The conscious mind is the barrier between YOU and your truest intentions. For many people, the conscious mind is the barrier to YOUR SUCCESS. Like all the other 63 people in the room that day, I made a decision that day, and locked in that intention by bending a spoon with my mind. Not once, not twice, but FOUR COILS.
4 years later, I’ll be SHARING THE STAGE, this weekend, with my first internet marketing coach, teaching my “Facebook F.L.O.W.” Facebook marketing course to 150 people at Jaz Lai’s Advanced Traffic Workshop.
How is that possible? To go from a struggling, frustrated unwilling soldier in compulsory military service to being FINANCIALLY FREE and helping people make LIFE TRANSFORMATIONS daily?
That day in the spoon bending workshop, I made a loose thought my reality. It was “just” another loose thought that could have passed on by. That thought was that in the next 48 months, I will BECOME SUCCESSFUL ONLINE and teach in my OWN COURSE, and give people life-altering value!
It is done.
