Reboot. Making a Better Me

So I’m sitting here trying to write a blog. Just watched the Boot Camp videos that Dave Wood made a little over a year ago. They’re actually excellent videos, not that I’m suggesting he does anything but.

OK, to expand on the “reboot” title. I got off track. I lost focus. And, yes, after I had already written about that. So I decided to start afresh. I’m rebooting me. But back to my blog.

Dave gives a list of things to do daily in the first of the 6 boot camp videos.

The first two on the list are pretty much self explanatory. The rest…..well. I have watched the other videos as well and he gives some good general info on the rest of the list. He gets a little more specific on blogging as well. He gives some great ideas on what to blog about.

I’ll admit right up front that although I think his ideas a good, they don’t necessarily fit with me.

While he was going through the ideas I was thinking, “but what if you really are just a boring person? What if you couldn’t care one iota about what some star is doing let alone have the desire to write 500-700 words about this person?”

Well then look somewhere else, ’cause this isn’t for you.

OK, now in that sentence above about blogging about some movie star, where the word “you” is, replace it with “I”. And I’m talking about myself here. And then the other sentence gets amended to this:
Well then look somewhere else, ’cause this isn’t for me.

Do I need to reboot myself?

Well I thought that over for a while. I’m not a boring person, but I really don’t care what famous person did what at the Oscars either.

Long time ago when I went camping, I like others, would bring along some reading material just in case there was some down time. I brought along physics books. I love physics. I love reading about relativity, quantum theory, string theory, M theory…the list goes on.

Hmmm….maybe I am boring? No. I can rock with the best of ‘em. But partying around a campfire and writing a blog about some up and coming starlet…well those are worlds apart.

So what do I do? Look somewhere else? Is there a “somewhere” else that I can make the income that Empower Network offers? Not that I have been able to find.

Just a few upgrades – Reboot not required

So what am I left with? Change. What’s the acronym these days…OMG! Change!? ME!!?? Well maybe that’s something to look at.

Now I am by no means suggesting that I am going to reboot my personality. When I speak of change I should probably be more specific and choose the word “growth”. I can grow in certain areas of my personality such as allowing myself to write blogs that I may not find interesting but that others might.

I see no reason why I can’t change by learning what others are doing to make great incomes and then incorporate these ideas and concepts into my lifestyle and personality.

This won’t make me a different person. I will still be recognized as who I am. But it may very well make me a better person. And isn’t that something we all should strive for?

Well believe it or not I’ve made it past the 500 word mark. It can be done. And I’m told that on a daily basis, it gets easier.
