We all are different and well all my view success differently. There’s a very fine line between reaching success and overcoming obstacles. The very difference maybe defined in the most unlikely of places. Reading this article will so you how change can be your greatest tool to accomplish your goals.
I’m a strong believer in change as a whole. However, it is often difficult to reach success when life throws you a curve ball. What if there was a way that you could use that as your advantage? Would you embrace change?
Preteen years was some of my most exciting times as well as my most difficult moments. It seems though I carried some of those hardships over into my adult. It’s funny how we tend to carry negative emotions with us.
I was raised in an environment that was very humbling as a child. At the at of ten my best friend was murder and as an adult I still see images of his lifeless body laying on the grass near our community center. I recall that day when his mother was screaming as everyone witness this scene.
For years, I would think and contemplate on life as a child. It would put me in a place where I would feel anger and resentment, however, I did not see it as an issue. Until one day someone called me out on it. I was at a personal development seminar. One of the speakers stated that, “some of you have a self sabotage mechanism running around inside of your thoughts and don’t even know it.”
That’s when I begin to see my thoughts for what you were. Stinking thinking! I recall the day when I decided to change my life for the better.
However, I wanted to change but nothing seemed to work. I knew that I could not change the past so I just dealt with the visions of the scenes of my mind. I just knew there had to be away to overcome my difficulties.
So I decided to work on myself harder than anything else in my life. Through practice and praying I discovered the recipe for success.
First of all you got to understand success is not a destination but a journey.
My Recipe for Success:
1.) Expect Change –
The way you expect change is to ask yourself the question early and often; “what can I change in this moment that will propel me into a better thought about tomorrow?
2.) Build Around Change.
You maybe asking how do you build around change? The answer to you questions lies within you very own experiences. Before you ever seek to change anything in your life first you have to Decide. Even before you make the decision to change you must contemplate on what is it that may change at any given point.
The VISION don’t change. The DESTINATION stays the same. The only thing change is that path to your end.
3.) Be The Change that you want to See.
What do I mean by be the change? You have to step into your future. I mean that literally. When you close you eyes at night; step out of your current circumstances and believe that you already have your desired state. It is BELIEVING. Being is Believing>
