Network marketers know that in order to generate their own leads, they need to have their own website or blog and they need to be writing articles that people read. In this way, they will generate leads that funnel into their business in a short amount of time. What network marketers don’t know is often how to write an article and how to make sure it actually gets read.
The first important factor when writing an article is your content. Your content is what provides a link between you and the person you are prospecting. Next, you want to make sure you are providing information that is of value, content that is highly ranked, and that it is related to your business. Don’t write about cosmetics if you are selling energy drinks! Also, make sure your information tells a story or is first hand information. If you identify yourself as trustworthy, you will have success with your content and writing style.
The second factor that you must consider is who is your target audience? You should ask yourself what kind of information they are looking for, and what kind of problems are they trying to solve? You should think “how can this benefit my audience?”. When you keep the focus on your target audience, you build trust with your visitors, and in turn they choose your information versus the large amount that is available out there.
Next, you must be sure to include keywords into your content. These are the words that will help your information appear in a search engine versus someone else’s. Do no bombard your article with too many words, as this is when your article will start to appear genuine or not. Just be sure that the opening and closing paragraphs have keywords that will interest your reader, and you will have success with your article.
Next, make sure your title isn’t boring or bland. With an abundance of information on the internet, you must be creative and use titles that will catch the visitor’s eye and make them want to read what you have to say. Your title should be catchy, but not a paragraph long! Keep the title short, and also clear about what you are going to teach your audience.
The content, your writing style, your ability to include keywords, and title of your article are the four most important elements to writing an article people will want to read. The only thing left is practice! So, don’t waste time procrastinating, start writing!!
