High heels are also known to cause every woman a painful feet and oftentimes can lead to fall when not in a good balance. Yet they can help the body to become elongated and make every woman’s movement to become poised and sensual. Dancing is a form of art that uses body movement with rhythm. It is also an expression that requires every female dancers to show their moves, and included here is the wearing of high heels. By practice and dedication, every dancer can understand the importance of balance when wearing high heels while performing.
Below are some guided ways that help you to dance well on high heels. Read on.
1. Try your high heels. Make sure that your high heels are properly and correctly fit you. Check by standing and walking on high heels or customized shoes. If you are not comfortable, then choose another one. Ensure that when you walk or stand, you can move freely and there should be absence of pain. Look for thicker heels because it will be easy for you to dance. Thinner heels might lead you to fall and accident.
2. Practice wearing high heels. “Practice makes perfect” – this is a common quotation that everyone is aware of. Practice walking or standing in using your high heels. Stretch the pair of your heels so it can fit better on you. You can walk around in your house and try it on different surface.
3. Dance while you are wearing your high heels. Just take your time and do not force yourself if you cannot dance well in high heels. If your feet starts to feel pain, then take that high heels off your feet. Rest your feet so it will not get swollen or increases the pain. By practicing, you can improve your ability to balance your body and you will have less chance of falling. Increase your time in practicing until you get comfortable dancing with high heels.
4. Think positive. If you will just put negative thoughts in your mind, then you cannot reach your goal. This means that if you lack confidence in dancing on high heels and you always think that you can’t, then you will not become a successful dancer. Compliment yourself while dancing because it can boosts your self-esteem and it can help you make a positive attitude towards your goal. If you are confident on what you are doing, then the risk of fall will be less likely to happen.
