Do you have hidden contracts which hold you back?
It is the unconscious which generally runs our lives. Most of us are unaware of the power of the energetic body whose imprints can influence not only our day by day choices but also our entire life path.
From the first moments in our birth our energy system is alive and functioning completely long before the mental body starts to understand the environment it lives in. So, many of the early experiences which leave marks on the energy body remain potent long afterwards as the energetic imprint lives on in the energy field.
This despite the individual’s growth work, such ideas that I have dealt with that , I am now free of this, etc and such mental conclusions relate to the relevant energy symptoms but not necessarily the cause itself – when the energy body was affected and continues to carry the ‘imprint’.
An early trauma for example could come from the simple need for the mother’s breast which is unfulfilled. (Mum is in the kitchen talking to friends, doesn’t hear the baby’s crying immediately – during those seconds or minutes the baby can start to panic and receive energetic effects due to the lateness of Mom’s arrival.
If this is situation repeats itself, due for example the mother might be inattentive, at times inebriated or on drugs, then the trauma could be reinforced and more fear enters the equation each time the infant gets hungry or thirsty. This could lead to the beginning of a belief system which could effect the infant through life – for example not trusting someone to proved for them or even be there for them at all.
Another form of early imprinting the unconscious can be the creation of contracts. Contracts are subtle agreements often where one is dominant and demanding a certain mode of behaviour from the other, at times with threat.
For example a child has a problem with sleeping and cries through the night apparently for no reason ( although of course there is a reason of some kind). The adult parent who has to get up early the same day and get to work comes to the upset child with impatience and perhaps scolds the child for the noise and inconvenience. Here the child energetically feels the onus of not causing the problem for the poor and victimized parent so a subtle contract is made not to cause the problem any more.
Such contracts cause inner confusion, construct blocks to emotional expression and create a bond between the two which can prevent a free and easy connection later in life. Contracts can be deeper and reinforced with more threats and dominance as the child grows – and later in the youth’s teenage years can be damaging to the freedom and expression of both parties who don’t really understand why there is a problem. what is important to realise is that the energy REMAINS in the energy-body with the same power the entire lifetime of both persons involved until the contracts or contract are eventually cleared. (which in most cases maybe never).
In addition as the child grows up they will be at times be subjected to a series of such types of contracts. Teachers, religious leaders/teachers/ older brothers/sisters/bullying school-friends can all influence the growing person’s individual freedom bringing associated reactions to certain types of events like fear, insecurity, nervousness, paranoia, which in turn can invoke traits of anger, frustration, rebellion and even later into addictions serving as escape from the discomfort and pain.
Such contracts are lurking in us all often causing failures in ambitions, love, relations, and work.
