I wanted to write something tonight that could benefit all of you that is struggling or that is new to the home business industry. I choose online business as a title because it’s one of most popular keywords when I did some keyword research. The main things that I have learned that has helped me tremendously is skills, consistency, training, more than one way of income source and working on myself (mindset, being positive).
The best advice I can give you is to find someone who can be your mentor in the online business world. You might have to show them that your serious about your online business before they are willing to help you. The reason for that is their time is precious just like yours is and most are really busy. So, you have to respect their time and not waste it!
Skills is something you learn along your journey with our industry. For example for me at first I sucked seriously on the phone, I got people hanging up on me and people who were making excuses just because they didn’t want to join it because of me. I think it was my upline that suggested to just get a lot of leads and start calling. It worked because the more you call and the more you talk you learn and you grow!
Another way to learn skills to educate yourself with the right education. If you haven’t heard of MLSP or Empower Network they actually educate people who want to learn the right way to market their business and much more. Trust me for the longest time I was doing things wrong with marketing. I’m not like a lot of people though some people would have quit during their first three months if they didn’t succeed.
I just wasn’t a quitter…I never gave up and you must have the same faith to get through it! Plus you can’t let anyone make a decision for you. For example let’s say someone says that it’s not gonna work so you go and quit. You have to stay strong and don’t let anyone no matter what they say or do stop you!
Consistency is such a huge key! You have to keep doing it everyday at least 6 days a week. Whether if its part-time or full-time! This is so important cause if you’re not putting yourself out there and marketing you are just making yourself fail!
So, get in the habit of being consistent…this is something that takes time cause eventually it will be like clockwork and you don’t even think about it. For example when I first started posting blogs it was like this thing I had to do to get myself out there but now it’s like a normal thing and it’s not near as hard as I thought it was gonna be. As a matter of fact I love doing it it’s my favorite way of marketing.
What I mean by having more than one income source is to be part of affiliates to help you bring in multiple streams of income, so when you do this I call it being an entrepreneur, hehe! The thing is though this is the way to do things…you want to have cash flow! Last but not least you need to work on yourself…your mindset and staying positive, this is so important!
