My Trip To Columbus

First I hope you alll had a great Christmas! (if you do celebrate it) I also want to wish you all a awesome new year!

On the day we were to go to Columbus it was one thing after another! I’m sure you’ve had one of those days!

I wanted to get there as soon as possible because I knew I wouldn’t see my cousin Hannah as much as I wanted to. Both Hannah and her dad ( my uncle) had to work on Christmas day.

We were planning on taking the car but the tire was flat so we ended up taking the truck. There was also a lot of construction on the way that was being done.

We were happy to finally relax when we got to my aunt and uncle’s house. We were surprised though that we didn’t get lost. It’s so easy to get lost in Columbus.

At night time seeing the city…the tall buildings is a pretty sight but not as cool as New York is.

After a while of talking we decided to play Balderdash. A game I got for Christmas! Never have heard of it but Abby my other cousin got to play it once. It’s actually a really fun game. It’s a great game for more then two people playing.

Basically you have to guess what something means and most of the stuff on there no one knows what it means so they make up something. I end up laughing every time because it’s just hilarious! I really recommend this game!!!

On Christmas day of course we opened up presents, we watched some movies and we played Balderdash and Clue. Clue has been one of my favorite games and every time my cousins and I get together we play it.

My husband isn’t into board games so it’s only when I’m with friends or my family that we play games. Abby and I had a lot of fun making rice krispies treats house and we put candy decorations on it.

We really enjoyed it and we laughed so much that my stomach started to hurt. She’s just got that bubbly personality…she’s so positive even during the most difficult time for her.

When it was time to go I hated to say bye because you don’t know really when you will see them again and I’m gonna miss them very much.

The good thing is that my birthday is tomorrow…yes I will be thirty four years old!

So, Abby is going to come here and join us for supper at one of my favorite restaurants. So far it’s gonna be my husband, myself, Abby and my mom that’s attending.

Then we might go bowling or see a movie or just hang out. I can’t wait…I’m excited!  So, what is your favorite thing about Christmas or New Years Eve?
