Have you ever wished something that happened in your life was just a NIGHTMARE and never happened?

I just feel like I want to share what happened with us this weekend and why I wish a part of it was a nightmare. The thing is it wasn’t all a nightmare…we had an awesome time till around 8pm est Sunday night.

It was like one of those Kodak moments where everything is perfect till the last second and there’s nothing we could do about it because well accidents happen and when it happens all you can do is pray that people will understand.

Plus not try to take it like they have to be immature about it.  The people who have power of attorney of the girls seem to make a big deal out of little nothing but when things happen and you can’t do anything about it…it’s not time to blame and point a finger.

We had two beautiful little girls staying with us to spend time with their mom. See she doesn’t have custody of the girls so she only gets to see them like every two weeks or so.

It’s a long story about why she doesn’t have custody. To be honest she literally got “screwed over” and I am not going to get into the details of that but it was just one of those things that is unfair in life.

Anyway, take a look at the video I created of my husband, my best friend and her two girls. We just had a blast Saturday night at the Halloween get together/party.

There was lots of room to run around and just have fun.  I went after the girls several times just playing with them and tickling them… it was just so much fun and enjoyed seeing the girls have so much fun as well.

We went on a hay ride too and they just loved it…was so excited about getting on the wagon and onto the hay.  I am so glad they really enjoyed themselves and glad I invited everyone.

See it was my family that invited me and I just figured it would be awesome to take the girls because there’s so much playing room and I figured they would like having a hay ride.

The part of my family that invited me has this huge farm and they have so much grass area that you could play baseball on it.  It was awesome!

What the nightmare is was when I was downstairs at the moment and the girls were upstairs playing a Wii game.

My husband was telling Shauna because she was waiting on her sister to get done with her turn to not get too close to the edge of the bed.

She was just having fun jumping on the bed and then all the sudden she hit the wood end table by the bed and knocked out a tooth.  He tried to get her in time but it was too late!

I am just going to give my worries to god right now because there is nothing I can do if her grandma and grandpa want to make a big deal out of this.  Kids will be kids and sometimes they don’t listen to you.

Plus accidents happen…but when it happens at your place and your not the one that has custody of them it can get ugly!  Anyway, we took her to the hospital…we thought that was the best thing to do and then her grandma came and took them home after it was all over with.

When I think of accidents and being a kid it reminds me of the stupid things I did when I was a kid and had to go to the hospital for.  It was my own fault because I kept opening and shutting the front door when I was probably 8-9 years old…not sure and then my toe nail came off and had to go to the hospital.

Just felt like sharing my thoughts on what happened this week end…have a lot of awesome memories and I have one that I wish it was literally just a nightmare and never happened.
