Fairy Tales & Innocence

In this day and age  with , “Once Upon  a Time”. We forget fairy tales as adults  most times we do.

Why ? You may ask  is that is because our innocence starts to go around the age of 12 maybe even younger.

I believe unless your parent(s) instilled in you still at that age to believe in  fairy tales we sooner or later fail to see innocence in children.

When they may have a  invisible  friend that we cant see due to the fact one we believe they don’t exist but does that mean we allow  kids to  not have  invisible friends or not have  imagination  to things that may or may not be real to us but are real to  our young  children such as fairy tales.

I have been watching  “Once Upon A Time” the tv series. To me its about  good  vs  evil.   I  believe the writers took a little of Grim brothers  stories and Disney’s stories and mashed it to make  it their own  version.

Their is twists and turns that   i never  imagined  til  i saw the  last episode of season  one of the fairy tales tv series.

I wont state what happened cause if i did my best friend would kill me lol .  All i can say is to watch it as soon as you possibly can   cause  even   how it ended surprised  the shit out of me .

My point in this is  I believe  we all no matter what should encourage young  children and even  teenagers to use their imaginations.   To  encourage them to read and  believe  in something no matter what it may be.

Even if  we  may not believe in what they do or in fairy tales.

The point is to let them believe while they are young because once they are older the imagination  may be there even if their innocence isn’t.

The fact is let them believe while they can!  I even found a book  that has Snow White as a vampire  and  that’s kind of interesting  and  the blood that calls to her is the man that is hunting her rings a bell if you have seen the movie snow white and the huntsmen (minus the vampire and blood part lol).
