How To Make Mint Fudge Brownies

What I am about to show you is something a lot of people have told me how awesome these brownies are.  They are so good especially if you get them out of the oven at the right time.

Last night I just made them again but I did not do them from scratch I actually just bought Betty Crocker’s fudge brownie mix.

So let’s get started on how to make mint fudge brownies and I’d love to know your thoughts on this so feel free to comment below!   If you want to make the brownies from scratch you will need the following ingredients!

A. 3/4 cup flour B.1/2 tsp. salt C. 1 cup of sugar D. three eggs (well beaten) E.1/2 tsp. vanilla F. two squares of unsweetened baking chocolate   G. andes mint chocolate candies  (I am not sure how many of them I put in but put in at least 5-7 mint thins)   H. butterscotch topping   I. oreos   J. gummy worms K. this depends on you and what you like you can also put in a cup of nuts as well. L. butter

Make sure you put it in a eight inch square baking pan.  Preheat the oven to 350 and grease the baking dish.

First thing you want to do is on low heat put in a little bit of butter and the two squares of chocolate.  You want to stir this till it’s smooth and allow the chocolate to cool after you’ve gotten it smooth.

You then want to mix the chocolate with the eggs, flour, salt, sugar and vanilla.  If you prefer nuts then put them in as well!

After that is done you need to start opening the candies wrappers and start breaking the andes into little pieces and putting them with the mix as well.  How many should you put in there?

Honestly at least five to seven pieces of candy but you can put however many you want.  Now if you don’t like mint then just don’t add the Andes candy!

After you have done that you want to grease the pan and pour the batter into the pan.  If the oven is ready to go then put the pan in the oven and then make sure you set the timer.

It will depend when you take the pan out for me it took around 23 minutes but I’ve looked around at recipes. Some say thirty minutes is how to bake it.

I wouldn’t put it in that long honestly so just keep an eye on it and when you can put a fork in the brownies without bringing out the brownie on the fork then it should be done.  Now we need to work on the brownies topping so the first thing you need to do is wait till the brownies is cooled off.

After that spread the butterscotch topping around the top of the brownies and try to do it evenly.

Then you need to get a bowl  to put in the oreos and if you want it to be for Halloween you need to only put in the black part of the oreos and not the white creme in between.

Then you need to crush the oreos and then get several gummy worms and stir them around in the (dirt) oreos.  Place the oreos on top of the butterscotch and try to cover every inch of the top so it looks like dirt.

In the center of the pan make a circlular hole then place a gummy worm there like in the picture.  After you do that just place a couple of gummy worms around and your done.

Thanks for reading my blog  on how to make mint fudge brownies and I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as my family, friends and I have.
