How To Make Lasagna That Will Put A Smile On Your Family’s Faces

I really wanted to share this recipe because it has left my husband, my best friend and myself to make it again! It’s so good so you gotta share it!

First you need the following ingredients:

1. Lasagna noodles (this depends on what size pan you have so can’t tell ya exactly how many you need)
2. Ricotta cheese (fat free or low fat)…just one 15 ounce container
3. Mozzerella cheese 2 1/2 cups (you can make it less if you want)
4. Parmesian cheese 1/2 cup (or less)
5. 2 bottles of speghetti sauce (I used about two 25.5 ounces of tomato basil…it really makes it taste good)
6. Italian seasoning (just sprinkle a little bit of it…not much)
7. 1 pound of beef (you can add more if you like)
8. 1/2 cup of hot water (this will depend on how big your pan is)
You want the water so that it cooks the lasagna noodles…that way you save time!

Here is how to make it:

First thing you need to do is cook the beef and once it is done make sure you cut the beef up into little pieces (this also depends on what you like some people like it a little more chunkier).

Once that is done add the speghetti sauce (you can put in both jars or less that’s up to you…I put in almost the whole two jars the first time and then the second time I put in both due to more hamburger). Put just a spoon scoop of ricotta cheese and a sprinkle of italian seasonings into the sauce and hamburger mix and stir that up.

At the bottom of your pan put in some sauce (be careful to not over do it) and then put some ricotta cheese on top and spread it on top of the hamburger mix.

Then place lasagna noodles on top (I can place three on the length of my pan).

Then repeat the same process…place hamburger mix, ricotta cheese and place lasagna noodles on top and keep doing that till you get close to the top but not too close (you want to be able to add water so that the  lasagna noodles cook).

Once you got the top layer just put in hamburger mix on top and then add the parmesian cheese plus the mozzerela cheese. You also then want to add the hot water!

Preheat the oven to 375f and bake for around an hour (I just wait till I see the cheese at the top start browning a little).

After you do that you’ll have some really good lasagna that will put smiles on your family’s faces.

Seriously, they should be asking you to make it again…I know I did!
