Driving to Success
How it started off was Alisha and I was listening to the Empower Hour call hosted by Tony Rush. Dave Sharpe popped on and said he was going to be in Atlanta on Tuesday and he is having a Live Event at the Omni Hotel in Atlanta, GA. When Tony Rush spoke about his story it was like magic. We master mind then and start talking back and forth to each other. Then we took action and said we are going to do this. Then Alisha calls the hotel to see if they had rooms and they did. I’m running around the house trying to get everything prepare and printing off everything. We were not physically prepared. We were only mentally prepared, because we knew what we want to do. Remind you that we have full-time jobs. We had to think about our future before a 9-5 Job. The call ended between 9:30 and 9:40. We said WE ARE DOING THIS! I still had to hop in the shower and get all the marketing information that we ever had ready and put it in the box we had as well. That took about an hour. It now 11:00pm. I hopped in the shower at 11:00pm and was telling Alisha to get ready or be ready when I get out. Guest What? She was with no question! This is call commitment and dedication. No questions ask and we live 20mins away from Washington, DC. We started about 11:40pm – 12:00am driving to Atlanta and I drive all the way up until 4:00am. I let Alisha take over after that and she drives until 6:30am. I got back up and start driving again. Remind you that I never slept until 4:00am and I kept tossing and turning so I really didn’t go to sleep. When I got back on the road I hit wheel and I started to hit the pedal. After driving for a long time we stop in downtown so Alisha can used the bathroom. We made it to downtown Atlanta. Remind you I still needed a haircut and we both needed some food. We checked in and got the equipment and bags upstairs to our room. We made sure that we seen were the event was going to take place. Then we went to get something to eat and I found a barber shop with no problem. Then as we were making our way back to the hotel, we were talking about how glad we were because WE TOOK ACTION RIGHT AWAY. I did some more marketing right at the hotel and I feel asleep and Alisha woke screaming “OH MY GOSH!!!! What time is it? David WAKE UP and it was just 5:00pm. I jumped in the shower and got ready for the event at 7pm. I was so press. It felt like standing in line at the shoe store waiting on some Air Jordan’s to come out! But Better! It felt like the missing key was there now and with no problem.
Then The Event Started and Guess what? IT ROCK!!!! WE ARE SO GLAD WE WENT
