Thriving in an Evergreen Market

Thriving in an Evergreen Market

When I first heard the term Evergreen, I thought it had something to do with the going “Green” earth movement. I had no idea it referred to a market that has continual demand, regardless of the economy. For example, the big three would be Health, Wealth & Love. Most everyone on the planet (at one time or another) will probably be interested in becoming healthier, wealthier and decoding that thing called Love.

These are timeless markets, filled with incredible niches that go on and on. Selecting an evergreen niche to focus your online business will provide a steady stream of hungry buyers. Not only because of the amazing traffic they get on the web but because there always be a demand for these products and services in this marketplace.

You can choose to build your business around any niche – in any market. Why not opt for the sustainable one. Warning, just so you know upfront, the big three are also where you will find market saturation from international corporations and players with very deep pockets. There is a lot of money to be made in this arena. Companies pay a great deal to stay in front of consumers eyeballs on internet searches. You should not turn away from these markets though.

You should be motivated by the fact that Davids are thriving among these Goliaths every day. And I always cheer the little guy breaking the top 5 on Google for ultra competitive keywords and taking business away from groups with seemingly unlimited advertising budgets. How can this happen? Well, for now Google really likes original content, from a blogger platform, mixed with some healthy backlinks and a site that has correct SEO.

So, how do you do that?

Begin by researching your target keywords and looking at your competition. This can be achieved by using a keyword research tool. A successful search may uncover several poorly optimized sites that you can exploit and achieve higher rankings. Just provide a site that has all of the goodies that Google wants. Next, provide consistent original content. Integrate pictures and video. Backlink. SEO your site. This was purposely oversimplified to get the concept across. As this post was not created to let you know how to rank in the top 10 for Google – I’ll leave that for a future column.

I’ve recently come across a universal key to getting my websites ranked consistently high among the search engines. It’s something that can be used in any market by any business that has a website. It doesn’t matter if you have a site selling lightbulbs in Toledo or you are promoting a MLM. This program has gained amazing notoriety and has an unbelievable entry cost.

If you are curious, I invite you to clink on the link below to find out more about this remarkable program.
