Create a title for your article that grabs your reader’s attention. There is a large amount of competition in the field of article marketing so you will have to make a concerted effort to differentiate yourself from the crowd.

Each paragraph should be 3-5 sentences. The article should be no more than 700 words. Many article directories use these specific guidelines; adhering to them will increase the likelihood that your articles are distributed. Blog posts, however, could contain as few as 300 words.

If a potential buyer thinks you are an expert because you wrote a thorough and professional article, they will be more likely to purchase your product or service. Because of this, they will probably purchase something and even give referrals.

Do not engage in flooding indexes with numerous copies of an article. It’s true that there are many indexes where marketers can post their articles. Marketers have to fight against the temptation to resubmit a single article to the hundreds of indexes that are out there. Search engines are aware that people do this, and will not count all the links associated with these articles when they do the rankings, so you will only be hurting yourself.

It’s a good idea to submit many articles. When posting on blog networks, craft your submissions in a consistent fashion. If you are focusing on a specific keyword, make sure every article you submit contains that keyword. If you have a popular keyword, make sure you get articles employing it visible on many article directories, and even more blogs. After you have done that you should make 50 or more posts within private blogs to ensure you obtain the desired ranking.

Many sites offer a system in which you are paid each time your article is viewed or clicked. These can be lucrative, but it largely will depend on how much promotion you do to bring people to your article to bump up the views. If you have a passion for writing, then this can be a very lucrative business for you.
