A Vision board, otherwise known as a Dream Board, is a tool used to bring focus to specific Life goals. It’s where you can display images that represent whatever you want to be, do or have in your life. We can get so caught up in our busy lives that we forget or lose focus of our dreams, goals and aspirations. A Vision board can help you stay on track.
Let’s have a look at some of the benefits;
1. Vision Boards activate the “Power of Visualisation”
Everything we have in life, everything we are is the outcome or the materialisation of our thoughts.
The more we can visualise our dreams and goals, the more it can materialise in our lives.
2. Vision Boards provide Clarity
Saying you want a ‘Great Future’ or a ‘nice house’ and ‘flash house’ is simply not enough! You must be specific about what you really want in life. Right down to the finer details.
For example, everyone has a different expectation and perspective of what a ‘nice house’ looks like. In order for the ‘Law of Attraction’ to work for you, you must not just settle for ‘whatever’ because ‘whatever’ wont be what you’re looking for.
How can you go after what you want when you don’t really know what you want?
Clarity also helps you to identify opportunities that will lead you on the right path to achieve your goals, rather than being swayed and distracted.
3. Vision Boards provide FOCUS!
So, not only do Vision Boards activate the “Power of Visualisation” but it also activates the “Power of Focus”.
The Power of Focus is a powerful thing. Focus is your driving force. It’s your motivation to get you out of bed everyday, to overcome struggles and failure.
Its your energy to keep you moving forward, no matter how long it takes or how hard it is.
The Power of Focus also tells your mind that it is done and will come to pass.
When you send a powerful message like that to your mind, the outcome is it will materialise in your life.

Here are some ideas to add to your Vision Board:
a. Family, Relationships, Marriage, Friends
b. Wealth, Career, Business, Investments, Money
c. Health and Wellness
d. Spiritual – Church, Reading, Prayer, Meditation
e. Travel or Time Out (ie. Hiking, Fishing)
f. Personal Development – Reading, Study, Mentor
g. Material – Home, Cars, Boats etc
You can use magazine pictures or download images from the internet. Or create an Online Virtual Dream Board here
It’s also a good idea to incorporate key WORDS to your Vision board. For example;
Wealth, Retire, Debt Free, Millionaire, Travel, Love, Marriage, Happiness, Success, Healthy, Dream, CEO, Entrepreneur, Wisdom, Godly, Spiritual etc
Remember, your Dream Board should scare you a little. That is the reason its called a “Vision” or “Dream” board, because it’s not a reflection of where you are TODAY, but what you WILL become and where you will be in the future!
Don’t downgrade your dream to match your Reality,
Upgrade your Faith to match your Destiny!
