How’s Your New Year’s Resolutions Working For You?

Since we have left January behind and are moving into February, how are your New Year’s Resolutions working for you?
As Tony Robbins said,
95% of the people forget their New Year’s Resolutions by January 15th.
Here’s the rest of Tony Robbin’s perspective on goal setting/New Year’s Resolutions and attaining them:
(Anthony) Tony Robbins is a self-help author, personal life coach and a motivational speaker. His infomercials, self-help books and coaching have made him a well known and a sought after expert in his field.
Tony has hit the nail on the head, with these inspiring videos. By taking his advice, we can see where our New Year’s Resolutions and all goals will be much more attainable.
Tony’s Steps for attaining goals and New Year’s Resolutions:
• Have a compelling vision
• Have strong reasons
• Review and envision daily
When we make our New Year’s Resolutions, we always emphasize on what we can’t do or what we need to stop doing. When looked at in that way, we are neither encouraged, nor are we too excited about sticking to our New Year’s Resolutions.
Visualizing the end results and the benefits gained from our goal will make it much easier to accomplish. Changing our perspective from a NO, to a compelling vision, with strong reasons, offers us the motivation needed to achieve our goals.
As we continually focus and review our New Year’s Resolutions, our chances for success will increase. By taking this viewpoint, we really are looking at ourselves in a new way. We are ultimately raising our standards.
As Tony said,
Change your inner game. Identify yourself in a new way. Owe it! Raise your standards.
Changing our inner game (the way we think) could very well help us accomplish our goals and achieve our New Year’s Resolutions as never before.
I’ve heard this said, but not sure by who,
THINK + ACT = BECOME
Just a little food for thought. So if you have given up on your goals or New Year’s Resolutions, start again! Think of it in this new way. Who said it had to be Jan 1st? Good luck and I’m rooting for you!
