So, you’re looking for a Spring Cleaning Checklist? Cool….because I’m about to show you 9 time-saving tips you can start doing to Go CRAZY with Spring cleaning.
Spring is a time to hear singing birds and see blooming flowers. When that happens, it’s time to clear out the weeds in your life.
Spring Cleaning Checklist – 7 Time Saving Tips
Let’s get started with the Spring Cleaning Checklist and cleaning up the following 9 areas and get rid of the clutter so that you can step into the spring and summer feeling lighter and excited about embracing what these 2 seasons have to offer.
Spring Cleaning Checklist
1) THE CAR: You will feel so much better if your car is clean. Be sure to make your own solution for cleaning the windows and the dashboard with water, soap and distilled vinegar. Dry the areas with newspaper so you don’t get any streaks on the windows. Clean the windows from the inside out.
2) THE FRIDGE: Our refrigerators can be symbolic of how our lives look when we get too busy. Piled up food, stinky odors, and stained shelves are no way to treat a fridge—or a life. Give your refrigerator a good cleaning every few months.
3) THE GARAGE: Your newly detailed car deserves a clean, organized home, don’t you think? This one may take some time, so set aside a few hours to really tackle it. Buy some shelves and storage boxes to organize everything. It will make your life feel so much better.
4) THE PANTRY: Just how long has that can of beans been sitting in there? Seriously!!! Clean your pantry to make room for new products and to take inventory of what you have. When you have an uncluttered pantry, you can think better. Less is more! Trust me!
5) THE MEDIA: If you’re still holding onto your CDs or have a lot of unwatched DVDs, it’s time to make the move to the modern age and make room in your home. GO DIGITAL. You are better off downloading everything to your iPod and getting iPod speakers to listen to your music. You can even plug it into your car too and take it with you to workout. SUPER EASY and less clutter.
6) THE FRIENDSHIPS: We love our friends so much we’ll jump through fiery hoops for them at times, which is fine if they are doing the same for you. But, it’s really a waste of your precious time and energy if you continue to feed relationships that don’t feed you. Clean out your friends list…both in REAL life and online as well. Get rid of friends that don’t serve you as much as you serve them. It’s toxic and unhealthy. Surround yourself with positive people that will lift you up and empower you to move forward in life.
7) THE CLOSET: People tend to wear 20% of their wardrobe 80% of the time. That means that more than half of the clothes in your closet are taking up space. While some clothes may be used for special events only (suits, evening dresses, jerseys, etc.), I’ll bet that other clothes either don’t fit or don’t reflect your current style. GET RID OF IT! Especially if they don’t fit anymore.
