I’m talking about the recent controversy of Chick-fil-A.

Chick-fil-A had a record turn out on August 1, 2012, for what former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee who made the call for patrons to show up for “Appreciation Day.”
All of this was because of Dan Cathy, the CEO of Chick-fil-A expressed his views on marriage being defined as a man and a woman.
Are you Serious
It appears the controversy started with the mayors of Boston, Chicago, and Washington DC. The Mayor of Chicago said “……..not respectful of residents, neighbors, and family.” He goes on to say “if you’re going to be part of the Chicago community, you should reflect the Chicago values.” What happened to our Freedom of Speech?
Definition
Hum. So what is the definition of values? According to Merriam-Webster: to estimate or assign the monetary worth of something, to rate or scale of usefulness, importance, or general worth. Maybe I’m missing something but how does this tie into the Chick-fil-a’s CEO’s comment.
I believe in what my Bible says about marriage being between a man and a woman. I have friends who are “gay.” My Bible says to love everyone, and I will not judge, as my higher authority is in charge of that. What you do behind your four walls, is your business. I will talk of what I believe in, and listen to what you believe in. Just don’t force it down my throat, and I will return the favor to you.
