As I have written in other articles, MLM sponsoring is a skill you must become good at.
The good news is that anyone, and I do believe anyone, can learn this skill. Some people will tell you that you need an outgoing personality, natural sales ability but this is a bunch of bull.
What you need is the ability to be trainable to be successful at MLM sponsoring
The good news is that no matter how hard MLM sponsoring is for you now; if you learn the right skills it will become easier and easier everyday.
The type of person you want to attract to your business are passionate about being successful and are willing to work hard to make it happen.
The problem is that most people you will bring into your business will start out strong or with good intentions but they will fizzle out and not go the distance.
The facts are most people join an MLM with the idea that they will get rich quickly for doing very little work. Once they start the MLM sponsoring process, reality hits, they quit.
Another issue is lack of creativity to find the right type of people. All companies tell you to list up your family, friends, and acquaintances and this is a great way to start your business, but this method has it limits.
Let me tell you my experience in my current business. I was quite successful in signing up many family members and friends into my current company. Soon though they quit and only one of them is still active but he is not setting the world on fire.
Why did this not duplicate? The facts are my family and friends, no matter how much I love them, say they want to build a business but they only “kind of want it”. They do not really want it.
MLM Sponsoring Success Steps
I was left with a choice, give up and call this MLM thing a scam because it did not work out for me or go out and use a systematic MLM sponsoring process to find the right people.
I am here writing this article, so you know exactly what I did. I went out, used some marketing systems to find the right people and my business is booming!
So we can reach one conclusion and that is if you want to be financially free and use MLM as a vehicle for this, you need to learn the art of marketing and MLM sponsoring outside your warm market.
The first step in the process is to create a marketing system that will generate endless quality leads
There are 4 basic ways to create leads.
- The good old “3-foot rule”, this means talk to anyone who you meet throughout your day. Now many people laugh about this, but I can tell you it is no laughing matter and this works if you are consistent. It is purely a numbers game.
- The next way is to advertise. I would advertise online as it is much cheaper than print advertising.
- Another way is content marketing like I am doing here, to attract people to be interested in working with you. Content marketing these days consist of video marketing, blogging, article marketing and Pod Casting.
- Social media prospecting is awesome way. If you understand the dynamics of FaceBook, Twitter, etc. amazing things can happen.
The next step is to learn how to speak to people but that is a long topic and something that cannot be covered in this article.
