l/2 pound sausage (Jimmy Dean – regular)
1l/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
1/2 pound grated sharp cheese
Preheat oven to 375° F.
- In skillet, brown sausage, breaking into small pieces. Drain very well and pat dry with paper towels.
- In microwave proof bowl, combine sausage, baking mix and cheese.
- Microwave for about 30 seconds.
- Shape into balls.
- Place on ungreased baking sheets about 1″ apart. Bake for 10 minutes.
Serve warm.
Note: These can be made ahead and stored in air-tight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
