Visiting somebody in a federal prison, across four posts, is not what anybody expects to find between a fan page tutorial and a birthday video. That series is the reason to remember this blog. It deals with abuse, with absolution, and with what belief looks like when it is being tested rather than described.

The rest is domestic and practical. A green screen bought after real research, umbrella lights set up in a room, and notes from a training session about what emotion a video has to carry before anybody watches it.

Failure gets a post of its own, treated as a word people avoid rather than a thing that happens. A post about a man born without limbs supplies the same register, and it fits.

There is a piece on avoiding debt and one asking what your governing values are, which is a better question than most goal setting produces.

Read the prison series in order. Nothing else nearby comes close to it.
