I had planned to write about something to do with business today, but because of what is happening in the world and in the U.S. it seems just too trite to follow that line of thinking.
You don’t know me, so let me first say –
- I am a conservative
- I believe in smaller government, not larger centralized control
- I believe in the original Constitution of the United States, The Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence
- I am a Christian – Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior
- I believe in the right to bear arms
- I believe in freedom of religion, not freedom from religion
- I believe in freedom of speech for ALL
Now that you know where I’m coming from . . . . .
It is incomprehensible to me that we are witnessing the unraveling of our great nation right before our eyes. Never in my wildest imagination could I have thought of any U.S. Ambassador – in this day and age – being dragged through the streets of any country, viciously tortured, brutally killed and his death being blamed by this administration and President Obama on some anti-Muslim video made in June of 2012. Really?
Now, I’m not naive – I understand that on 9/11 of each and every year since 2001 it is advisable to be on the alert here in the U.S. – and most especially in countries unfriendly to the U.S. and in particular those with large Muslim population. Was our State Department not prepared for these happenings at many of our embassies on 9/11?
That being the case, why in the name of heaven didn’t all of our Embassies have extra security leading up to 9/11, on that day and after?
In the last few days it is being reported that Ambassador Chris Stevens believed he was on an al Qaeda hit list and had been marked for death for months. And, in fact, there were warnings for 4-5 days prior to September 11th which should have caused there to be more security at our Embassies!

American Marines were not stationed at the U.S. embassy in Tripoli or the American mission in Benghazi, as would typically have been the case. In the spirit of a “low profile,” the administration didn’t even want an American company in charge of private security. Blue Mountain, the British firm the State Department hired, was willing to abide by the “no bullets” Rules of Engagement
The Wall Street Journal confirmed Friday that the Libyan security guards provided by Blue Mountain were unarmed.
Now the State Department is in “cover up” mode, as is the administration I believe. Else why are there different accounts of who, what and how the attacks took place and about the security in Libya.
– just sayin’.
The decision not to staff Benghazi with Marines was made by Secretary of State Clinton when she signed the State Department Rules of Engagement for Libya as Obama wanted.
Did you even know that?
I didn’t until Ambassador Stevens was killed and all this is coming out. How asinine!!!!
Colonel David Hunt stated in an interview that the new State Department Rules of Engagement for Libya, approved and signed by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton per Obama, since the 2011 fall of Gaddafi’s regime, severely compromised the safety and security of murdered Ambassador Stevens and all American diplomatic staff in Libya.
So as not to have a high profile in Libya per Obama, there were to be no Marines at Benghazi, and to have an American contractor hire Libyan nationals to provide security there. The rules were they couldn’t have ammunition! Unbelievable!

I did not vote for Obama – as you might have guessed – and will not vote for him in 2012. However, he is my President.
To put it lightly, I am disappointed in how he has performed in the last 4 years. I am horrified at what has happened to our nation. Financially (the deficit and downgrading twice), Green Energy (really?!?), health care (Obama care — destruction of medical practice in the U.S.) and military (drastic cuts in defense budget which threaten our National security), we are in the toilet and I fear soon we will be flushed away!
So why am I so angry –
The very idea that 4 Americans are killed on American soil in Libya and many other embassies are attacked on 9/11 is almost unbelievable. To top it off, these attacks are blamed on an anti-Muslim Youtube video made in June of 2012 – for an entire week after the attacks and killings.
Not only by the State Department, the Press Secretary, but by President Obama himself on David Letterman on Tuesday nite, 9/18/12 on The Letterman Show.
There are still those in the administration who say they are investigating whether the attacks were spontaneous or preplanned – is there any doubt?
Yesterday it was stated by Matthew Olson, the administration’s National Counter Terrorism Center Direct, “I would say, yes, they were killed in the course of a terrorism attack on our Embassy.” See the full story and CNN video on this website.
Now some in the administration are admitting it was an coordinated, well-planned terrorist attack.
Wow, surprise!
Today is it being aired on the news that our State Department and Obama have an ad distancing the United States from this “now well-known anti-Muslin” video in Pakistan — and we as tax payers ARE PAYING FOR IT! President Obama referred to the video again today in a townhall-like meeting in Florida when asked about security at our Embassies.
I fear we do not have a leader and haven’t had one for the last almost 4 years – sad to say but true. But we do for sure have a great campaigner-in-chief.
So, what else is the administration lying about?
