So What iOS 6.0 Features Are Out There?

Mobile Safari Has to Be One of The Best iOS 6.0 Features

The surfing experience is even better with iOS 6.0′s Mobile Safari. This fall, you’ll be able to use iCloud Tabs, which keeps track of which pages you have open on all of your devices. Additionally, Mobile Safari will also including your very own Reading List, which are saved Web pages, not just links. Finally, Safari’s new full-screen landscape mode makes reading articles on your iPhone that much better.
iOS 6.0 Also Has Remodeled Stores
Your virtual iOS stores are getting a makeover. These include a redesigned iTunes Store, App Store, and iBookstore. Best of all, with iCloud, your store preview history will always be up to date on all of your devices!
Shared Photo Streams

Now you can share just the photos you want, with just the people you choose. To do so, simply select the photos you want from the Photo app, then tap the Share button. Friends using iCloud on an iOS 6.0 iDevice or a Mac running OS X Mountain Lion will get their photos delivered automatically in the Photos apps or iPhoto application.
More Features…
Facebook Integration

The iOS 6.0 Features for Facebook also brings Facebook integration to your mobile Apple devices. Now you can post statuses from the Notification Center and share from various apps including Photos and Safari. Concurrently, Mountain Lion is also getting updated to include Facebook integration.
Now it’s easier than ever to interact with the world’s largest social network. And there’s no need to leave your app to do it. Share a photo to Facebook right from Camera or Photos. Post your location right from Maps. Brag about a high score right from Game Center. If you have your hands full, just ask Siri to post for you. You need to sign in to Facebook only once, and you’ll be off and sharing. Never miss another birthday or get-together, since Facebook events are integrated into Calendar. And iOS 6.0 Features allows your Facebook friends’ profile information to be integrated into Contacts, so when they update an email address or phone number you automatically stay up to date. Now that’s something to post about.
The Ultimate Do Not Disturb Feature
If you’re the kind of person who likes to disconnect, you’ll enjoy “Do Not Disturb.” This feature is in the settings app, and it will keep your device from bothering you with any calls or notifications while it’s on. But it’ll let in emergency calls if someone dials you twice, and you can also set it to allow calls from certain groups, such as your Mail VIPs. And while we’re on that…
Siri has gotten a complete make-over
Apple is now adding Siri to the third generation iPad and will also include it on the fifth generation iPod Touch, which launches next month. Besides more devices, Apple has also improved Siri. Now you can open apps using the voice assistant. On top of that, Siri now does turn-by-turn navigation, and she can get information for movies, sports and restaurants.
With iOS 6, Siri understands more languages and works in more countries.2 So you can get more things done in more places around the world. Want to know the latest scores and stats for your favorite teams and players? Thanks to iOS 6, Siri knows the answers. Or maybe it’s movie night. Siri can show you the latest reviews and showtimes. Find the best restaurants in town and make reservations. Even have Siri open your apps for you — no tapping required. Say “Launch Flight Tracker” or “Open Angry Birds” and Siri does just that. You can also use Siri to post Facebook updates and tweet for you
Beautifully designed from the ground up (and the sky down), Maps changes the way you see the world. Map elements are vector based, so graphics and text are incredibly detailed — even when you zoom all the way in — and panning is smooth. Tilt and rotate to view an area, and Maps keeps the names of streets and places where they belong. Get visual and spoken turn-by-turn navigation and real-time traffic updates. Even soar over cityscapes to see the sights from the air in amazing, high-resolution quality.

VIP Mail
With VIP, you’ll never again miss an important message from those closest to you. Additionally, Apple has now made it easier to add photos and videos to your email messages. Plus, to refresh your mailboxes, all you have to do is swipe down using your fingers.
Even The iOS 6.0 Features on the Actual Phone have been Re-Vamped

For the first time since the first iPhone arrived in 2007, Apple’s native Phone app has received a significant makeover. With iOS 6.0, users are able to send text messages to someone who just called, but you can’t talk to at that time. Three canned messages exist for this purpose, each which can be customized.
These include:
I’ll call you later.
I’m on my way.
What’s up?

Phone also includes the Do Not Call feature, which suppresses calls and notifications immediately or according to a schedule. For example, you can use this feature so that only your favorite contacts can reach you after 11 p.m. each night. Finally, the Phone app in iOS 6.0 includes a slightly different Phone keypad, which we’ve shown above.
Google is the big loser in the new iOS, seeing YouTube and its map services removed. There is already an official Google YouTube app available to replace the loss, while Google Earth has long been a favorite. While losing front-page position is a minor blow, that will probably be countered by the increase in advertising revenue it will get now mobile ads that can be shown in the new app.
If Microsoft can pull off the comeback of all time with Windows Phone 8, Surface tablets and other mobile gadgets, 2013 will be a gripping year as the competitor’s huge budgets are put to good use in what will be a massive marketing war.
Hope you had a good read…Have a Blessed Day.
