I Just Had Another “Ah-Ha” Moment, My Online Business & My Mentor…

My Online Business & Mentor For Success
You have to find a mentor. If you are starting up a new online business and your goal is to work from home, before you do anything, find a mentor.
When I say mentor, people unfamiliar with the online biz world tend to think that they need to seek out a “Mr. Miyagi” mentor, someone who personally guides and trains you through the process. Well, no that isn’t it, because sanding the floor or painting the fence might be nice to do for someone, but it probably won’t help you learn internet marketing too much. Mentor or teacher, basically you are following a person who is already successful and you admire and want to emulate that success they have. You don’t even need to know them on a personal level or really any level other than as a contact, but I think it’s important to at least try to put yourself out there in an effort to be noticed at some point and time. This is important to do especially if you had some success directly related from what they taught you. You can’t be shy at this point, and believe me when you do reach out to say thanks or to ask questions a good mentor will respond. If they ignore you, after repeated attempts then either your sending your emails to Grandma by accident(which could be funny as it is) or your mentor is the wrong person to follow.
Who is The Right Mentor To Follow In My Online Business?
I went through a few different online business guys as my chosen mentors for a few years when I was starting out. A couple good ones, and a few bad ones. Probably a few fake ones as well. The “posers” who are pretending to live gangnam style but are really just starting out and probably can barely afford their rent let alone give business advice!
The bad IM ‘gurus’ usually showed their true colors when they would teach how they became rich using a certain technique or strategy that you would say is blatantly unethical and feel guilt following their advice. There were a few who disappointed me, because they built up a trust level for me and then one day, the hammer dropped and he did something that made me question him, myself and what the hell I was really doing. I won’t name names, and I won’t get into the specifics of what the issue was because the point of telling you this is that, if it feels like you are doing someone wrong even though you have the best intentions, and it makes you second guess your mentor every other day on their actions, then you should follow that gut instinct because chances are your gut is right.
The other bad mentor type, was pretty much not an authority on anything except creating mass confusion! Yes, every IM guy has their own systems in place and maybe they work or maybe they don’t but the core fundamentals of marketing online and offline do not change. Value for your dollar, building customer loyalty, integrity in your actions, knowing and believing 100% in your product, knowledge of their own product and what it does. These are what you see in long standing successful established businesses. If your mentor is missing one of these and you can plainly see it, run for the hills!
I guess this was why I stopped promoting “biz ops” for a long time, until I actually new what the hell I was talking about. It seemed silly to promote a “traffic generating system” when I could hardly generate traffic to my site. So instead I would educate myself first and then get traffic and then say, ok, now I can promote this product because at least I used the system and got the traffic. But unfortunately, some people are so desperate for a sale that they’ll sacrifice their future reputation to make it.
This doesn’t mean that you have to buy and test everything before you promote it(although it’s a good idea to do that with bigger ticket items). You should at the very least read the vendors sales page or look up some recent reviews to see the consensus. The same for when you are searching for a mentor.
How To Find That Mentor Who Will Guide You To Your Goals
Opinions vary of course, but I would never go to certain sites that are popular with people researching stuff. Like Scams.com or any other opinion forum type that is full of negative people talking shit about this guy or that guy. Usually when they are trashing some IM successful guru’s program and calling them scammers, the same trash talkers will always put their affiliate link at the bottom of their ranting post knowing full well that some people will check it out and possibly buy in their direction. I hate that crap, it pisses me off because the poor newbie who doesn’t really know any better is getting fed into that marketers funnel and might buy willingly thinking that their new system they just bought will make them rich in 30 days.
The only way to find your ideal mentor is to first ask yourself what it is you really want, what is your “why’s” Are you just looking to earn a few extra bucks each month? Are you looking to build a real sustainable business that grows to success? Do you want success and to be a millionaire and then help others? You have to write these things down and then start your research. I followed a couple of different mentors for a long time and they are successful good people but, I wasn’t making a dime, and it wasn’t for lack of effort that’s for sure. It was simply a problem in the systems I followed. I can tell you right now that I am an authority on SEO, because that’s what I did. I got my websites ranked very high very quickly and truthfully I was making money, but it wasn’t quite enough to quit my day job and it was tremendously difficult to keep up because it was a constant struggle daily dealing with Google and their ever changing rules of ranking. It’s disconcerting to say the least when you are on top of page one with your primary keyword today and tomorrow Google throws you on page 8 even though you did everything to comply to their standards.
Suddenly you WERE an authority on SEO but appears to be no longer. That was when I almost quite everything. Then one day a few months back I decided to revisit my ad account on a media buy site and see what I could find to get some traffic to my site because that was my main purpose then, traffic. I saw on one of the publishers sites a banner that made me check it out. It was something I never heard about before called High Traffic Academy. It was this guy who was telling me that he could get 300 thousand visitors to his website in a day or two and he was willing to show how in a series of free training videos and all I had to do was watch and then see it for myself. I thought that, well I’m not busy right now since I am on the verge of total defeat so I watched the first video and by the end I had to say that watching him go through step by step on his computer screen on what he was doing really made me feel comfortable about this guy. There was no sales pitch and no pressure, just valuable content. Free content!
My Mentor & My Online Business
The video series was set up to feed a new continuing training episode every few days and I have to say that after watching the second free training I was checking my email 10 times a day for the link to the next video! He had such a warm enthusiastic and super positive attitude way about him that when he said that anyone can do this just like him. It was clear that this guy was to be the mentor finally I could count on. I took some of what he taught that day and I tested it out. I was shocked that I got results way better than I could imagine. It was my , ‘Ah Ha!’ moment and where things started to come together. It was the first time I made money overnight and built a contact list of 200 people in under 24 hours! By the time I got to the last video in the series all my doubt about really truly making money online disappeared and I was willing to join him no matter what the cost. There is no doubt in my mind this will happen and all because of my mentor who showed the truth to making wealth and building a real sustainable business. My mentor, Vick Strizheus is the only guy who said it how it is and showed how to do it, and from that I got amazing results.
Now my second ‘Ah Ha!’ moment has been following Vick to the Empower Network and the potential now for me getting millionaire status in 2 years or so is absolutely going to happen. I can say those words out loud and not feel uncomfortable doing so today here or in front of anyone.
Find your mentor, follow and be teachable and eliminate any negative thoughts in your life, because if I can do this, guess what you can do?
