While driving home from Kentucky this afternoon after spending the weekend with family, we discussed our vision for our new home.  Now some of you who know us personally or have connected on through skype with us know that we are looking to move to the Caribbean.

Here’s Part of Our Vision…

Now the way I see it is, a main home with either a pool house or guest house for visitors, with an infinity pool and hot tub looking out to the ocean.  I would prefer to be closer to the ocean because there are less snakes and spiders closer to the water, but I will “settle” for a secluded home as well.  Plus, secluded may be better for our outdoor shower, because ever since our vacation home in South Carolina had one, we have had that on our must-have list.

Our list gets longer and changes everyday…luckily we are still in the planning phase and haven’t purchased our property or picked exactly which out of the places we have it narrowed down to for that matter(Costa Rica, Belize, Turks & Caicos).  Now this conversation took place pretty much the whole 3 hour trip home, so I could go on but I will spare you.  The point is the possibilities for us our endless, we have a vision and everything surrounds our common vision of living on a beautiful island in the beautiful Caribbean, where the way of life is smooth and relaxed.

Vision is so important to have, it may be fuzzy, the small details may change day to day, but the main goal itself will stay the same.  And, it will only become more clear as you make the decision to take the steps needed towards making this vision a reality.
