If you had ever felt that you were trading time for dollars, you are not alone. The average person feels the need to be part of something bigger and if you have found that you wanted to pursue a career track you better get compensated for it.  IE (JOHNNY PAYCHECK)

Back in the day when Rich Dad Poor Dad came on the scene I was so intrigued by the title. Yes, the title is the best known reason to buy any book. If the title isn’t there, it isn’t for a guy like me. However; you may like boring titles…. But not me.

Anyway as I picked up this book and read it from front to back, I was in a fog… all I knew was this information was going to change my life. Never being a business owner before and only knowing how to do J-O-B and not O-W-N. I would have nightly rendezvous with pages that stuck out to me, I would covet some of the principles and think about them at work.

I would throw out off the wall questions to other factory workers, secretly to see if I seen some spark in their eye, hoping that I would have another closet entrepreneur around me to feed off the already growing dream in my minds eye.  I would watch the vidoes of some business men as they would talk about dreams and ideas that made them who they were at that very  moment… I was awe struck by the idea that I could own a business that would allow me to take care of a growing family and another growing secret desire….

A page in the book showed a graphic that to me was graphic … it was like business pornography and the urge to do something kept growing.

I would watch infomercials that would talk about the information that was getting my ideals of owning my own business and then it hit me … why not you BE RICH!

I shifted my head side to side when the thought of  “I want to be rich” hit my mind…

I quickly reasoned it away… because the feeling of it actually rolled through my consciousness.
