Joe Weider Passes Away at Age 93
Joe Weider, an absolute icon and face behind the body-building sport as we know it, passes away on March 23, 2013. The man that literally started it all, and mentored one of the best bodybuilders of all time, will never be forgotten.
Joe Weider was the driving force behind bodybuilding publicity and entertainment for the world to see, and had a mission to help grow the sport to become a global one of a kind art, and carry it’s own unique category.
His mission, was more than a success, it’s become a “master piece” of it’s own. He’s not just the face behind bodybuilding, he’s also the brain and power behind the major bodybuilding publications that fill the stores, athletes locker rooms, and gym shelves with magazines such as:
Muscle & Fitness
Flex
Shape
We can’t forget about Arnold, which is the executive editor of Muscle & Fitness, and Shape…

Joe has left his name, his brand, his vision, and his legacy to a world that will carry on his message, of what life is really all about…
..by living a life of significance..
..bringing others up, empowering them, and helping them become the greatest at whatever they do.
Joe has definitely inspired me, and many others out there. No questions about that.
